A separator provides mechanical separation of suspended particles or debris within a fluid. The separator includes a cylindrical body having an inlet pipe for directing the fluid generally tangentially into the cylindrical body, causing the fluid to spin around the inside diameter of the cylindrical body. An outlet pipe, having an outer diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the cylindrical body, can extend from a top end of the cylindrical body into the cylindrical body. Directional blades can be disposed on an outer surface of the outlet pipe, with a gap between the directional blades and the inside surface of the cylindrical body. A baffle dome disposed an a lower end of the cylindrical body slows down the fluid flow, causing the particles and debris to remain below the baffle and settle. The fluid then exits out the outlet pipe as a cleaned fluid.

Dust collector with a constant suction force

A dust collector including a cylindrical cyclone tube, a central outlet channel, a swirl generator, and a swirl reflector is disclosed. The cylindrical cyclone tube can include one or more inlets. The central outlet channel includes a lower inlet end and an upper outlet end, wherein the upper outlet end is located above the one or more inlets. The swirl generator can be configured to generate a swirl between the cylindrical cyclone tube and the central outlet channel, the swirl generator configured to encircle the central outlet channel. The swirl reflector can be located near a bottom of the cylindrical cyclone tube and forming a particle chamber there below. A distance between the swirl reflector and the lower inlet end of the central outlet channel can be between ten to fifty percent of the length of the cylindrical cyclone tube from the one or more inlets to the swirl reflector.

An in-line drink dispensing system () for dispensing liquid such as water or other beverage. The system comprises a pump () in fluid connection with the system so that the pump can create a flow in the system and based on the current that the pump uses during operation a value can be determined and used for analyzing one or more statuses of the system.

Drink dispensing system and method thereof

A reciprocating pump assembly for dispensing liquids is provided. The pump assembly comprises a pump housing providing an interior compartment and being provided with an inlet for providing a liquid to be dispensed, and an outlet for dispensing the liquid. The assembly further comprises a piston being movably mounted within the interior compartment of the pump housing and comprising ferromagnetic material. The assembly comprises a magnetic actuator for generating a linearly moving magnetic field acting on the piston. The magnetic actuator comprises a permanent magnet arranged to be moved in linear directions, whereby the piston is moved in the pump housing between a resting position and an actuated position under influence of the linearly moving magnetic field.

Reciprocating pump assembly for liquids

An arrangement for dispensing an additive into a liquid stream is provided. The arrangement includes a conduit for guiding a liquid stream and a dosing device. An opening is provided through a wall of the conduit. The dosing device is arranged at the opening of the conduit for dispensing an additive into the stream through the opening. The dosing device extends above the conduit. The conduit and the dosing device are arranged such that a vertical distance is defined between the dosing device and the liquid stream to prevent direct contact between them when in use. A refrigerator door that includes the arrangement and a method of dispensing an additive into a liquid stream are also provided.

Arrangement for dispensing an additive into a liquid stream

A household appliance () comprising a dispensing system () for dispensing a beverage and a compartment () which in use of the household appliance () is kept cold. A wall portion () has a wall thickness extending from the compartment () to the ambient environment. A temperature gradient is formed over the wall thickness. The dispensing system () comprises an outlet () and a first liquid path () and a second liquid path () for conducting the beverage to the outlet (). The first liquid path () comprises a first conduit section () and the second liquid path () comprises the second conduit section (). The first conduit section () and the second conduit section () are arranged within the at least one wall portion () at different positions along the temperature gradient formed in the at least one wall portion (). Beverage at different temperatures may thus be provided from the dispensing system.

Household appliance with beverage dispensing system, method and filter cartridge

The invention relates to a beverage cooler having an in-line operating cooling unit for instant cooling of beverage flowing through the same, comprising a cooling container () having an inlet () and an outlet (), for feeding the beverage to and from the cooling container, respectively, and a cooling tube () located inside the cooling container. The cooling container () is adapted to be located in an ambient temperature which is above the freezing point for the beverage, wherein the cooling tube () is adapted to carry a cooling fluid having a temperature below the freezing point of the beverage and is located such that the beverage can pass between the cooling tube and an outer wall of the cooling container (). Hence, the beverage will pass by the cooling tube and be cooled from it and freeze to solid phase in the area closest to the cooling tube, whereas the outside of the cooling container, having a temperature above the freezing point of the beverage, will ensure a free passage of non-frozen beverage closest to the outside wall of the cooling container.

Dosing device () for dispensing a specified vol&#x2033; ume of liquid, comprising an electromagnet () and being adapted to hold a pump () with a magnetisable pumping member () displaceable under the action of the electromagnet when the pump is held by the dosing device. The dosing device further comprises a portable voltage source () adapted to energize the electromagnet by repeated current pulses and to measure the current intensity at least once per pulse, thereby estimating the charge amount in each pulse, until a total charge amount corresponding to the speci&#x2033; fied volume of liquid to be dispensed has been supplied. A method including pulse-wise activation of an electromagnet actuating a pump having a magnetisable pumping member is also disclosed.
