The invention concerns an analogue display timepeice exhibiting at least one universal time display mode. The timepice comprises: time display means constituted in the form of an hour hand and a minute hand, time zone display means comprising at least one analogue indicating organ of said time zones and able to provide data relating to the geographical position of said time zones by reference to the earth, motor means able to drive said analogue display organs facing indications of respectively time and place, electronic control means arranged to drive said display means, this invention being characterized in that said analogue organ enabling the time zones to be indicated is comprised of at least one of the two time display hands, for example the hour hand, brought by electronic control means into a particular position in conjunction with the other hand, notably the minute hand.

An analogue display timepiece having at least one operation mode, time-related or non time-related, and able to provide information relating to the state of this mode and/or the state of a programmed event linked to the latter. The timepiece includes at least two analogue display organs providing an hour hand (H) and a minute hand (MN), an electronic control (22) to control the operation mode, and a display arrangement capable of providing the user with at least one alphanumerical message informing him of the state of the mode and/or the state of the event. The state display arrangement is formed by the hands (H, MN) themselves which, as a function of their relative angular position driven under the control of the electronic control (22), can act structurally upon the message to make it intelligible in the selected angular position of the hands.

The invention concerns a timepiece. Such timepiece exhibits at least two selectable modes of operation, a first referred to as time and a second referred to as nontime, and it comprises at least one hours hand (h) and one minutes hand (m) capable of being independently actuated by motor means (18, 20), electronic management means (22) for said modes of operation and an external control organ capable of operating on said management means, such timepiece being characterized in that it includes visual means for signalling entry into the non-time mode of operation, such signalling means being formed by said hours (h) and minutes (m) hands acting in an automatic and systematic fashion at least, upon entry into the nontime operating mode. The invention is applicable to an electronic timepiece having an analog display.

Analog timepiece including means for signalling a change of mode

An analog timepiece has an hour and a minute hand which may show either the time in a normal manner or information other than the time. When the timepiece is in its normal time display mode, a display function may be activated to display information other than the time by means of external command means. When this function is activated, the hands are superimposed and selectively occupy together the same angular position representative of the information apart from an indication of the time.

The antenna elements of the transponder of this invention are pierced with openings and thus have a general form of loops surrounding spaces devoid of any metallic elements. This arrangement diminishes the capacitance of the stray capacitor formed by the antenna elements and the body of the person carrying the transponder, thus improving the gain thereof. The invention is particularly applicable in the search for avalanche victims.

Passive transponder

A timepiece, able to indicate at least the hours, minutes and seconds, having a rotary stem movable into three axial positions: a stable neutral position in which the timepiece operates normally, a stable outer position and an unstable inner position. When the stem is pulled to the outer position the timepiece switches from the normal operating mode to a correction mode in which it is possible either to correct the minutes indication by rotating the stem slowly, or to perform a change of the hours indication done by rotating it rapidly. Whenever the stem is simply pulled out, or is pulled out followed by a correction of the minutes indication, and is then returned to the neutral position, the timepiece switches automatically and for a set maximum time, e.g. one minute, to a transitory mode in which it is possible to reset the seconds to zero and, at the same time, to cause a return to the normal operating mode by pushing in the stem. If after a set time, no pressure has been exerted, the timepiece resumes automatically normal operation. No transitory mode is provided when only a change of the hours indication is performed.
