An exterior sub-assembly for a timepiece or watch or piece of jewelry, including a first component and a second component, arranged for a bayonet mount between two rims and two wings comprised in the first component and the second component, and capable of occupying an assembled and indexed position of the first and second components, this sub-assembly including a third ring-shaped component inserted between the first and second components, fixed in rotation with respect to one of these components and including an elastically deformable area, opposing a variable resistance torque to any relative tangential torque between the first and second components, and including a catch cooperating with a relief portion of the component that is not connected to the third component, wherein one particular catch angularly indexes these first and second components.

A method of manufacturing an external timepiece component, including: a metallic base made of a first material including titanium and/or a first titanium alloy; at least one metallic cover plate made of a second material, this second material including a second metal selected from among gold and platinum and palladium, and/or a second alloy including at least gold or platinum or palladium, this at least one cover plate being of a thickness greater than or equal to 0.5 millimeters; the at least one cover plate is welded to the base to form a bimetallic blank; and the bimetallic blank is shaped and/or machined to give the structural component its final form.

An orientable screw-in element including a cap and a device adjusting angular orientation of the cap relative to a watch middle part. The device adjusting angular orientation of the cap includes a first part including a flat friction surface, a second part integral with the cap including a second flat friction surface and a return mechanism configured to rotate the cap integrally with the first part. The cap and first part are axially mobile in relation to each other between a first position in which the first flat friction surface and second flat friction surface are each pressed against each other by the return mechanism such that the cap rotates integrally with the first part, and a second position in which the first flat friction surface and second flat friction surface are not in contact, the cap therefore free to rotate about the rotational axis of the screw-in element.

Adjustable link for a bracelet, including first and second half links which are longitudinally movable via the cooperation of a guide device and a complementary guide device, and secured by the cooperation of arresting device and complementary arresting device. The first half link includes a longitudinal finger with a locking device having radial elastic return moveable between folded and unfolded positions, and the second half link includes a longitudinal channel allowing the finger to pass in only one of the folded or unfolded positions. In proximity to this channel, a complementary locking device cooperates, in at least one locking position, with the locking device in the other of this folded or unfolded positions. The locking device and complementary locking device together define at least two of the longitudinally separate locking positions.

Adjustable link

An orientable screwdown crown includes a cover and a device for adjusting the angular orientation of the cover in relation to a watch centerpart. The device for adjusting the angular orientation includes a coupling member and an indexing unit between the cover and the coupling member as well as a restoring unit, which endeavor to rotationally fix the cover and the coupling member. The indexing unit includes a first tooth arrangement arranged on the coupling member.

Device and method for securing a watch element with adjustable angular orientation

An adjustable link for a bracelet, including first and second half links longitudinally moveable via cooperation of a guide and a complementary guide, and captived by cooperation of a stopping mechanism and a complementary stopping mechanism. The first half link includes a longitudinal finger with a locking mechanism including a radial elastic return moveable between folded and unfolded positions, and the second half link includes a longitudinal channel allowing the finger to pass in only one of the folded or unfolded positions, and, in proximity to the channel, a complementary locking mechanism cooperating, in at least one locking position, with the locking mechanism in the other of the folded or unfolded positions, the locking mechanism and complementary locking mechanism together defining at least two of the longitudinally separate locking positions.

A timepiece 1 comprising in particular a case 8 having a back cover 10 and a middle part 12 in a single piece, a control stem 26 co-operating with a pull-out piece 44, and an extractor device 48 enabling a part of the pull-out piece 44 to be raised to free it from the control stem 26. The timepiece is characterized in that the extractor device 48 comprises an extractor element 48 having a first branch 50 which slides in the movement 2 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the movement 2, the end of said first branch 50 being substantially facing the pull-out piece 44, and a second branch 52 which comprises a portion projecting from the periphery of the movement 2 to form a gripping arm. The extractor element 48 is free to move between a first position called the rest position, in which it does not act on the pull-out piece 44, and a second position called the operating position, in which the end of the first branch 50 pushes the pull-out piece 44 out of the groove of the control stem 26.
