A system includes a collaborative design system that includes a processor configured to display an industrial plant layout on a display. The processor is also configured to overlay the industrial plant layout onto a geographic image. Further, the processor is configured to receive one or more inputs from a plurality of remote users. In addition, the processor is configured to manipulate the layout with respect to the geographic image based on the one or more inputs. Moreover, the processor is configured to create an industrial plant design based on the industrial plant layout and the geographic image.

System and method for industrial plant design collaboration

An embodiment includes a power production system having a compressor system compressing a fluid. The system further includes a combustor system combusting compressed fluid and a fuel. The system additionally includes a turbine system configured produce power and an exhaust stream and a first exhaust processing system fluidly coupled to the turbine system and configured to receive the exhaust stream. The system also includes a first bleed system fluidly coupled to a first location in the compressor system, to a second location downstream of the compressor system and upstream of the first exhaust processing system, to a third location in the first exhaust processing system, to a fourth location downstream of the first exhaust processing system, or a combination thereof, and configured to redirect a first compressor extraction from the first location to the second location, to the third location, to the fourth location, or to the combination thereof.

System and method for recovering turbine system extractions

A control system for a gas turbine includes a controller. The controller includes a processor configured to access an operational parameter associated with the gas turbine. The processor is configured to calculate a bias based on the operational parameter, wherein the bias indicates an amount of change in a temperature of an oxidant entering a compressor of the turbine to reach a reference temperature. The processor is further configured to control the temperature of the oxidant based on the bias to improve power output of the gas turbine.

Intercooled gas turbine optimization

A method of assembling a feed injector is provided. The method includes providing a feed injector tip that includes an inlet, a tip end, a flow passage that extends longitudinally through the feed injector tip from the inlet to the tip end, an annular cooling channel that substantially circumscribes the flow passage, and a buffer region that separates the annular cooling channel from the flow passage. The method further includes coupling the feed injector tip to the feed injector to enable a fluid to be channeled through the flow passage, such that the fluid flows past the inlet, at which the buffer region has a first width, before flowing past the tip end, at which the buffer region has a second width, the first width wider than the second width, and coupling a cooling assembly to the feed injector to enable a flow of cooling fluid to be channeled into the annular cooling channel.
