A bottom structure for an electric vehicle including at least a first and second beam-shaped battery modules extending in a length direction. Each module is formed by a number interconnected cells and has two longitudinal sides, two transverse sides and a top side covered by a cover plate. The disclosed subject matter generally relates to a lateral push element adapted to be arranged inside a hollow beam structure disposed on a lateral side of a vehicle. The lateral push element is configured to provide a lateral load path in the event of a partial overlap collision involving the vehicle. Some hollow beam structures on the lateral sides of the vehicle are often heavily deformed when the incoming barrier hit the hollow beam structures. The hollow beam structures are not in themselves able to transfer a lateral force. The space inside the hollow beam structures may thus be utilized for enabling additional lateral forces in the event of a partial overlap collision. The present disclosure provides a lateral push element adapted to be arranged inside the hollow beam structure disposed on a lateral side of a vehicle, and that is configured to provide a lateral load path in the event of a partial overlap collision involving the vehicle.

A vehicle crush can adapted to couple a bumper beam to a side rail, including: a hollow box structure including front and rear portions, the front portion including or adapted to be coupled to a bracket assembly adapted to be coupled to the bumper beam, the rear portion adapted to be disposed within the side rail and defining a plurality of lateral holes; and one or more internal sleeves disposed within the box structure and defining a plurality of lateral channels aligned with the plurality of lateral holes of the box structure; the plurality of lateral holes of the box structure and the plurality of lateral channels of the one or more internal sleeves adapted to be aligned with a plurality of holes defined by the side rail when the rear portion of the box structure is disposed within the side rail and collectively receive a plurality of bolts therethrough.

Front wheelhub assembly disconnection arrangement for a road vehicle

The present invention relates to a front bumper system for a vehicle. A pair of front side members is arranged along a front-rear direction of the vehicle and arranged on opposite sides of the vehicle and on opposite sides of a cross member structure of the vehicle. Pair of crash box units are mechanically fixated to the front side members. A front bumper is laterally disposed and mechanically fixated to each of the crash box units. A lateral push element is mechanically fixed to one of the crash box units and being arranged to provide a load transfer path via the cross member structure towards the opposing front side member such that at least the front side member on the side of the lateral push element is moved towards the opposing front side member in the event of a crash.
