An outer contact surface element of a one-way clutch is configured to contact at least one clamping body of the one-way clutch when an inner ring of the one-way clutch rotates in a first direction. The outer contact surface element includes a hollow-cylindrical section, and at least one radially outwardly projecting lug. The outer contact surface element may also include features for connecting the outer contact surface element to a support bearing.

A sealed universal joint bearing includes a pot-shaped component having a disk-shaped base and a cylindrical wall projecting from a periphery of the base, and an inner surface of the base and an inner surface of the cylindrical wall define an interior of the pot-shaped body. At least one row of rolling elements are configured to roll along the inner surface of the cylindrical wall. A flange in the interior of the pot-shaped component has a flange surface against which end sides of the rolling elements are configured to slip during bearing operation, and the flange surface includes at least one formation configured to reduce a contact area between the flange surface and the end sides of the rolling elements.

A structural unit for assembly to a trunnion of a universal joint bearing providing a cup, a sealing ring, which is fixed to the cup, and a shield, which is connected to the cup in a state in which the structural unit is not assembled to the trunnion. The cup includes a bottom and the sealing ring provides at least one sealing lip that points in a direction with an axial component towards the bottom.

The invention relates to a rolling bearing assembly device having an inner race, an outer race, at least one row of rolling elements disposed between the inner race and the outer race, and a sleeve mounted in the bore of the inner race. The sleeve provides a radial bearing flange, the lower edge of which has a portion that is inclined towards the interior of the device, the inclined portion in contact with a locking washer. The sleeve also provides at least one slot extending axially towards the inner race from the lower edge of the radial bearing flange, the lower edge being disposed on the opposite side from the inner race.

Rolling bearing assembly device for steering column

A bearing device which comprises an internal ring and an external ring, which are each provided with a bearing path for rolling elements which are arranged between the rings in contact with the bearing paths. At least one of the two rings comprises a casing which is provided with an axial portion, two radial portions at the ends thereof. This device also comprises two bearing elements which are mounted in the casing and which each form a bearing path, and at least one pretensioning element which is produced from resilient material and which is arranged between one of the radial portions of the casing and one of the bearing elements. A rolling bearing device for a steering column includes an outer ring, an inner ring, at least one row of rolling elements arranged between the rings, and a sleeve mounted in the bore of the inner ring and coming to bear axially against the ring. The sleeve provides a bore designed to come into radial contact with a shaft, and a member for the axial retention of the sleeve that is designed to engage with the shaft. The sleeve has at least one elastic body at least partially delimiting the bore. The axial retention member is mounted to bear axially directly against the sleeve on the opposite side from the inner ring.

Rolling bearing assembly device comprising an outer race, an inner race, a row of rolling elements which is arranged between the outer and inner races, a sleeve mounted in the bore of the inner race, and an elastic preload element capable of transmitting an axial preload to the inner race, the elastic preload element being mounted in direct contact with the inner race and being able to be in contact with an annular axial centring portion of the sleeve. A radial bearing flange of the sleeve extends radially from the axial centring portion towards the outside of the device and bears axially over its entire periphery against the elastic preload element. The invention relates to an angular contact bearing assembly for use in a steering column, comprising at least one rolling bearing comprising conductive components, a sleeve for mounting an conductive inner ring of the at least one rolling bearing on a shaft; and at least one conductive structure creating an electrically conductive contact between at least one of the conductive components of the at least one rolling bearing and the shaft. It is proposed that the sleeve and the conductive structure form an inseparable compound.

Angular contact bearing assembly for use in a steering column

The invention provides a rolling bearing assembly device having an inner race, an outer race, at least one row of rolling elements between the inner race and the outer race, and a sleeve mounted in the bore of the inner race. An annular elastic element is mounted axially between a radial bearing flange of the sleeve and the inner race, the elastic element having an inner bore that is able to bear against an outer surface of the sleeve so as to transmit a force having a radial component in the direction of the interior of the device. The sleeve includes at least one slot extending axially towards the inner race from a lower edge of the radial bearing flange, the lower edge being disposed on the opposite side from the inner race.

The wear compensation device for a gear set comprises a support for attaching the device to an external element, a bearing intended to be mounted on a shaft comprising one of the wheels of the gear set, an eccentric mounted on the bearing and able to move angularly with respect to the support, an actuator mounted axially between the support and the eccentric and able to apply a circumferential force to the said eccentric, and at least one maintaining means for temporarily maintaining the angular indexing of the eccentric relative to the support in an angular position in which the actuator is preloaded between the said eccentric and the said support.

A rolling bearing assembly device comprising an outer race, an inner race, a row of rolling elements arranged between the outer and inner races, a sleeve mounted in the bore of the inner race, and an elastic preload element capable of applying an axial preload transmitted to the inner race. The elastic preload element is mounted in direct contact with an annular axial centering portion and bearing axially over its entire periphery against a radial bearing flange extending radially from the axial centering portion towards the outside of the device.

The wear-compensation device for a gear comprises a fixed support capable of being fixed axially on an external element in order to keep the device on the said external element, a bearing designed to be mounted on a shaft comprising one of the wheels of the gear, an eccentric mounted on the bearing and designed to be in contact with the external element, the said eccentric being able to move angularly relative to the fixed support. The device also comprises a torsion spring mounted axially between the fixed support and the eccentric and capable of exerting a circumferential preload force on the said eccentric, the said spring comprising a first end mounted inside a recess of the eccentric and a second end interacting with the fixed support.

Wear-compensation device for a gear

The rolling bearing, in particular for a power steering mechanism, comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, an elastic sleeve in contact axially and radially with one of said rings, and a housing holding the sleeve. The housing provides an axial portion and two lateral flanges extending the axial portion and mounted in contact against the sleeve to exert an axial pre-stress on said sleeve.
