LED lamp

A LED lamp comprises an enclosure containing a reflective surface and an optically transmissive exit surface and a base. A LED assembly is mounted on a submount, is located in the enclosure and is operable to emit light when energized through an electrical path from the base. The submount comprises a connector portion having a first electrical contact that is in the electrical path. A first spring contact is electrically coupled to lamp electronics where the lamp electronics and the first spring contact are in the electrical path. A heat sink comprises a heat dissipating portion that is at least partially exposed to the ambient environment and a heat conducting portion that is thermally coupled to the LED assembly. The connector portion is inserted into the heat sink such that the first electrical contact creates an electrical contact coupling with the first spring contact.

An LED lamp includes an elongated at least partially optically transmissive enclosure. The LEDs are mounted on an LED board. The enclosure has a support structure for supporting the LED board. The support structure is formed as one-piece with the enclosure and of an optical material. A pair of end caps are secured to the ends of the enclosure using a snap-fit connection. The end caps retain pins for connecting to a light fixture.

A mobile communication device includes video communication capability. When the video call is place on hold by the mobile communication device, a pre-recorded video is transmitted to the holding party. The pre-recorded video may be stored in the memory of the mobile communication device or may be stored in a video server in the network. In the latter case, the mobile communication device signals the video server to transmit a selected video to the holding party when the video call is placed on hold.

A hinge for use in a mobile terminal comprises a first hinge portion defining an opening and having a slot extending from the periphery of the first hinge portion to the opening, and a second hinge portion defining an opening and having a slot extending from the periphery of the second hinge portion to the opening. The first hinge portion is one body portion of the mobile terminal, and the second hinge portion is secured to the other body portion. The hinge portions are rotatably connected such that the openings are aligned. The hinge portions are relatively rotatable between a first position where the slot in the first hinge portion and the slot in the second hinge portion are aligned, and a second position where the slot in the first hinge portion and the slot in the second hinge portion are not aligned and the openings cannot be accessed from the exterior of the hinge.

A connector mounted to a printed circuit board permits an inserted plug to displace from an inserted position to a displaced position responsive to an impact force exerted on the inserted plug. The connector includes a housing comprised of one or more sidewalls, and a cavity within the housing. The cavity receives and releasably retains the inserted plug in the inserted position, while one or more contacts disposed within the cavity electrically couple the inserted plug to an electrical circuit disposed on the printed circuit board. One or more openings in the sidewalls yieldably retain the inserted plug in the inserted position, while permitting the displacement of the inserted plug through the one or more openings.
