A suspension system () configured to minimize transmission of acoustic and vibrational energy in a device, comprising: (i) a rigid support (): (ii) an operative element () positioned within the rigid support and comprising a drive frequency when the device is in operation; and (iii) a resilient element () engaging the rigid support and configured to create a resilient force against vibrations generated by the operative element in one or more degrees of freedom: wherein the natural frequency of a suspension mode in one or more of the degrees of freedom are tuned into a narrow resonant frequency range by the suspension, and wherein the resonant frequency is greater than the drive frequency.

An additive delivery system may incorporate a cartridge system, including a container cap and a reservoir assembly that provides for storage of an additive. The container cap includes a mixing nozzle for mixing of the additive with a base fluid as the base fluid flows from the base fluid container through the cartridge. A one-way valve prevents backflow of base fluid and/or mixed base fluid/additive from an area downstream of the mixing nozzle such that the base fluid supply remains in a pure state.

An earbud assembly with separate, flexible overmold sections configured to cover a seam between adjacent portions of an underling earbud housing. The earbud assembly includes a first housing member and a second housing member attached to the first housing member and forming enclosure with the first housing member that houses an audio transducer. A first flexible overmold is formed on an first exterior surface of the first housing member, and a second flexible overmold is formed on an exterior surface of the second housing member. The flexible overmolds each include an edge portion along their perimeters. Each edge portion is configured to abut the other and thereby cover the seam of the earbud housing.

An electrochemical sensor for organic molecules such as ethylene includes an electrochemical cell, gas sample inlet means and means for detecting current produced by the oxidation of the organic molecule at the anode of the cell. The sensor is capable of sensing multiple organic molecules in some embodiments. A voltage is applied to the anode of the cell to provide energy to drive the oxidation reaction and produce a corresponding current. The sensor of the invention can be made as a small, hand-held unit that is capable of real-time detection of various organic species.
