Generally described, aspects of the disclosed subject matter are directed to removable cable ties for bundling of cables or the fastening of objects. In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, the removable cable tie generally includes an elongate web, a first tooth and a second tooth projecting bilaterally from the web, and a retaining portion positioned at a first end of the web comprising a first leg and a second leg spaced apart to form a c-shaped pocket. The pocket is configured to receive the web and allow sliding movement of the web in a first direction, while preventing the sliding movement of the web in a second direction opposite the first direction. In some configurations, the cable tie may be disassembled and reused by twisting the web within the pocket to release the web.

The holder is an elastomeric body of revolution having a suction cup portion and a knob portion joined by a neck portion such that there is a circumferential groove between the suction cup and knob portions. In use, the suction cup portion holds the holder onto a non-porous surface and eyeglasses can be held in the groove.

A method of manufacturing ceramic filter media for water filters involves the steps of mixing a plurality of raw ceramic materials and a plurality of extrusion-aid materials to form a mixture of constituent materials, extruding the constituent materials to form tubular filter media, drying the tubular filter media, and firing the tubular filter media to create ceramic tubular filter media. The step of drying the tubular filter media preferably comprises placing the tubular filter media on top of rotating rollers which dries the tubular filter media evenly and preserves the desired characteristics of the tubular filter media.

Method for the extrusion of ceramic filter media

A water filter including an inlet assembly which comprises a prefiltering foam tip. The inlet hose includes an adjustable float and a weight on the end of the hose which allows a given length at the end of the inlet hose to extend below the surface of the water being filtered. The water filter further includes a check valve assembly to relieve pressure buildup inside the pump. A unique lever-action handle, in combination with a rocking piston, allows efficient filtering with few moving parts. The filter components are easily replaceable. The main filter assembly is suspended resiliently at its periphery to provide shock-absorbing characteristics. The filter also includes an adaptor base which allows for a direct connect between the vessel into which water is filter. The water filter also provides a unique method of storing the inlet hose to render the water filter easy to carry and prevent foreign objects and debris from entering into the area of working parts.

An apparatus and method for cleaning a fuel delivery system contained within a lightweight, portable, liquid fuel component stove comprising a weighted needle contained within a fuel transmission chamber wherein shaking the chamber causes a cleaning end of the weighted needle to move in and out of an orifice in the chamber, so that the orifice is cleaned and fuel may be effectively transmitted from a fuel source through the orifice and to a burner.

A self closing squeeze valve comprising a resilient and deformable valve body having a cavity into which a wafer made of closed cell foam with a smooth surface is permanently inserted, causing a normal state of blockage and seal. Lips are provided across the opposing broad surfaces of the cavity, aligned normal to the direction of flow through the valve, to augment sealing by the wafer. Manual pressure on the valve body causes both components to deform to form a passage allowing flow through the valve.

An improved self closing squeeze valve for use with fluid dispensing containers comprising a resilient and deformable valve body into which one or two wafers of similar material are permanently inserted causing a normal state of blockage and seal. Manual pressure on the valve body causes all components to deform, allowing passage of a fluid.
