A method and system for extending an authentication of a wireless device are disclosed. For example, the method includes authenticating access to the wireless device via a first authentication. The method detects a bonded authentication device as a second authentication. The method permits access to the wireless device when the bonded authentication device is detected.

Method and system for providing extended authentication

A wireless communication device () is disclosed. It can include: an electronic device () including a display (); a wearable device () including a first orientation detector () configured to detect a suitable display viewing orientation; and a controller () including a power saving module () coupled to the electronic device (), the controller () configured to control the operations of at least the display () in response to a suitable orientation detection. Advantageously, the wireless communication device () can provides a simple, portable, compact and robust power savings feature that can actuate a display when properly orientated for viewing by a user and not actuate the display when not suitably oriented.

An electro-chemical analysis device and method for analyzing biomolecular samples, including a means for holding a sample on a substrate platform, a thermal sensor, a biosensor formed having a specific spatial resolution as related to the thermal sensor, and a means for providing radiation to the biomolecular sample. The means for holding the sample, the thermal sensor, the biosensor, and the means for providing radiation all three-dimensionally integrated with the substrate platform, thereby defining a compact biomolecular analysis device having a volume resolution of less than 50 micro liters. During operation, radiation is provided to the biomolecular sample to provide for a constant temperature at which hybridization of the biomolecules takes place. The temperature of the biomolecular sample is monitored and controlled by the integrated thermal sensor and the integrated heater. Once hybridization takes place, the change in electric condition (e.g. voltage, current and/or power) is recorded and identification of the molecule within biomolecular sample is made by utilizing an exterior reader.
