Examples of the disclosure include an automatic transfer switching system comprising a first input to receive phases of first power from a first source, a second input to receive phases of second power from a second source, a receptacle, a phase-selection interface (PSI) configured to receive the first power and output a first selected phase and receive the second power and output a second selected phase, a switching device coupled to the receptacle and the PSI, and at least one controller configured to control the switching device to couple the first input to the receptacle via the PSI to provide the first selected phase when the switching device decouples the second input from the receptacle, and to control the switching device to couple the second input to the receptacle via the PSI to provide the second selected phase when the switching device decouples the first input from the receptacle.

Multiphase-to-single-phase automatic transfer switch

A rack power distribution unit (rPDU) includes a chassis having one or more cutouts formed therein. The rPDU further includes one or more outlet assemblies within the outlet cutout. The outlet assembly includes a body having a front and a back, with the front having an outer flange and at least one outlet receptacle. The back of the body is configured to be inserted within the outlet cutout. The outlet assembly further includes a neutral terminal, at least one live terminal, and a ground. The outlet assembly further includes a fastener configured to secure the outlet assembly to the chassis. The rPDU further includes one or more printed circuit boards configured to the be secured to the chassis. The printed circuit board includes a first connector configured to connect to the neutral terminal and a second connector configured to connect to the live terminal.

According to various aspects and embodiments, a power distribution unit (PDU) is provided. The power distribution unit includes an input configured to receive input power, a plurality of outputs each coupled to the input and configured to receive input power, and each output of the plurality of outputs having an output configured to provide output power, and a controller coupled to the plurality of outputs and configured to determine a plurality of time intervals based on a frequency of the input power, measure a current at each time interval of the plurality of time intervals for each output of the plurality of outputs, generate a plurality of current measurement sums based on current measurement values associated with each time interval of the plurality of time intervals, and determine a root-mean-square (RMS) value based on the plurality of current measurement sums.

Systems and methods for determining input current of a power distribution unit

Systems and methods of providing network connectivity to an equipment rack are provided. A network switch includes an enclosure to be aligned along the height of an equipment rack. The network switch provides a plurality of network ports distributed along the enclosure so the network ports are associated with mounting spaces in the rack, when installed. A controller provides communications between the plurality of network ports and may be configured to identify installed equipment in particular rack spaces, from network traffic on particular network ports and by association of the network ports with the rack spaces.

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for measuring airflow. In one example, an airflow monitor includes an ion generator positioned in a controlled space, an ion detector positioned in the controlled space and spaced from the ion generator, and a controller configured to receive a signal from the ion detector, to measure a time between emission of ions from the ion generator and detection of ions at the ion detector, and to calculate a speed of airflow between the ion generator and the ion detector based on the measured time.

According to one aspect, embodiments herein provide a power distribution device including a power outlet comprising a receptacle including an internal conductor configured to be coupled to a power source and to an external conductor inserted into the receptacle, a switch configured to provide an indication of whether the external conductor has been sufficiently inserted within the receptacle, a relay configured to form a first connection between the external conductor and the power source, a transistor configured to be coupled in parallel with the relay, to form a second connection between the external conductor and the power source, and a controller configured to determine, based on the switch, that the external conductor is being removed, in response to the external conductor being removed, control the relay to sever the first connection, and in response to opening the relay, control the transistor to sever the second connection after a predetermined delay.

An electronic device includes a chassis, a first outlet provided in the chassis, and a power source coupled to the first outlet. The first outlet has a first ground terminal. The device further includes a ground bracket configured to connect first ground terminal of the first outlet to the chassis to ground the first outlet. The electronic device further may include a second outlet provided in the chassis and spaced from the first outlet. The second outlet is coupled to the power source, and has a second ground terminal. The ground bracket is configured to connect the first ground terminal of the first outlet to the second ground terminal of the second outlet and to the chassis. A method of grounding outlets of the electronic device is further disclosed.

A locking assembly is provided for securing an electronic module to a chassis of a rack enclosure within a mounting slot of the chassis. The locking assembly includes a lock configured to be secured to a vertical rail of the chassis. The lock further is configured to prevent the electronic module from being slidably installed into and removed from its respective mounting slot and to prevent a latch of the electronic module from being opened when the electronic module is secured in place within the chassis of the rack enclosure. The locking assembly further includes a key configured to enable the lock to be removed from the chassis thereby enabling the installation and removal of the electronic module from the chassis.

An interface apparatus is configured to be mechanically secured and electrically coupled to a busway. The interface apparatus includes a housing configured to mate with the busway and a plug-in interface coupled to the housing. The plug-in interface is configured to receive a plug-in unit. The interface apparatus further includes an electrical coupling assembly coupled to the housing and configured to move between an uncoupled position in which the plug-in interface is uncoupled to the busway and a coupled position in which the plug-in interface is electrically coupled to the busway. The interface apparatus further includes an actuator assembly coupled to the housing and the electrical coupling assembly. The actuator assembly is configured to move the electrical coupling assembly between the uncoupled and coupled positions and to secure the plug-in unit to the housing.

Systems and methods for determining liquid depth information in a condensate pan of a climate control unit are provided. The systems and methods radiate a light beam into a liquid contained in a condensate pan associated with a climate control unit. The light beam is detected at a point of the condensate pan that is below a surface of the liquid. Information related to the depth of the liquid is determined based at least in part on the detected light beam. The systems and methods disclosed herein can determine if liquid depth in a condensate pan is greater than a threshold depth and can control evacuation of the liquid from the condensate pan.

An air pressure differential sensing system includes a conduit defining an air passage through which air flows upon application of an air pressure differential across different regions of the air passage, a flap pivotally connected to the conduit, and a sensing device mounted proximate to the air passage and separate from the flap. The flap is configured to move about a pivotal axis in response to the air flowing through the air passage. The sensing device is configured to sense an angular position of the flap about the pivotal axis, the angular position of the flap being a function of the air pressure differential.
