The present invention is a power distribution unit for electrification of modular wall panels such as used in office buildings and the like. More particularly the invention includes a central junction box, that houses six buss bars three power, one neutral and two ground bars, and two duplex receptacles, pluggable into the sides of the box.

Power distribution unit for modular wall panels

A power entry connector for bringing power to an electrical distribution system mounted in modular wall panels. The power entry connector includes a housing and means in the housing to retain contacts having tabs extending outwardly from the housing, and a spring mounted cover on the housing to cover the tabs in a non-operational state and to be slidably moved to expose the tabs in an operational state.

The present invention relates to mateable electrical connectors of the type wherein housings of insulating material carry within terminals of conductive material. Upon the connectors being telescopingly mated, the terminals slidingly engage and are pressed together by a biasing member on one of the two terminals.

Mateable electrical connectors

A two-piece connector for battery jumper cables wherein the connector portions each indicate the positive and negative battery terminals to which the cables from the connector are to be connected. The connector further includes a two state LED device which provides a green light when the cables are connected to a battery with polarity in the manner stated on the connector and a red light when the polarity is reversed. The circuitry, therefore, is contained directly in each connector half. The connector halves are hermaphroditic so that they can not be connected in reverse polarity condition.
