A solid fuel burning system and method with an electronic ignition circuit is provided having a filament. The filament is attached to the filament support. The filament is adjacent the wick. The electronic ignition circuit is configured to direct power to the filament to cause the filament to generate heat.

Solid fuel burning system with electronic ignition

A portable stove for cooking s'mores is disclosed herein wherein a gel chafing fuel is centrally disposed within a shell and away from the shell so that heat generated by the gel chafing fuel does not heat up the shell excessively so that a person would burn his or her fingers if the person touches the exterior surface of the shell. The portable stove has a gel chafing fuel holder for positioning the gel chafing fuel within the shell.

A solid fuel burning system and method with a wick having a bridge is provided. The system has a melted wax reservoir, a melting grate, and the wick. The melting grate is configured to receive a solid wax. The melting grate located above at least a portion of the melted wax reservoir so that wax melted on the melting grate can be received into the melted wax reservoir. The wick has a perimeter wall, a hollow core, the bridge, and an upper exit opening in communication with the hollow core. The bridge extends across the hollow core between a first portion and a second portion of the perimeter wall. A solid fuel burning system and method with an electronic ignition system is also provided having a power source, a filament, and a filament support. The filament support positions the filament adjacent the wick or bridge within the hollow core.

Fuel burning system and method

A wax burning system is disclosed. The system has a melted wax reservoir, a solid wax, a melting grate, a hollow core wick, and a wick sheath. The solid wax has a priming section. The melting grate is configured to receive the solid wax. The melting grate is located above at least a portion of the melted wax reservoir so that the solid wax melted on the melting grate is received into the melted wax reservoir. The melting grate has one or more apertures to allow a melted wax to flow through the melting grate and into the melted wax reservoir. The hollow-core wick extends above the melting grate and is configured to receive fuel from the melted wax reservoir. The priming section is located above a top of the hollow-core wick to prime the hollow-core wick for ignition. The wick sheath surrounds the hollow-core wick.

Wax burning system

A method of fueling a flame, a fuel, and a fuel burning system is provided. The system has a melted wax reservoir, a fuel, a melting grate, and a wick. The fuel has a body, a priming section, a front wall, and a bottom surface. The priming section is vertically spaced from the bottom surface and extending from the front wall to create an overhang. The priming section extends along less than the entire length of the front wall. The melting grate is configured to support the fuel. The melting grate extends above the melted wax reservoir so that fuel melted on the melting grate can be received into the melted wax reservoir. The wick has an at least partially hollow core forming a burn chamber extending above the melting grate. The fuel is configured to be positioned so the overhang is located over or adjacent to the wick.

Fuel and a fuel burning system and method

A method of preventing clogging of a reusable wick, a method of fueling a reusable wick, and a fuel burning system are provided. The fuel burning system has a melted fuel reservoir, a melting grate, and at least one wick. The melted fuel reservoir is configured to receive a solid fuel. The melting grate is located above at least a portion of the melted fuel reservoir so that fuel melted on the melting grate can be received into the melted fuel reservoir. The at least one wick has an at least partially hollow core forming a burn chamber extending above the melting grate. The wick is spaced from the reservoir so that melted fuel in the reservoir is spaced apart from a bottom of the wick.

An apparatus having a flame bowl, a shroud surrounding the flame bowl, and a fitting connected to an underside of the flame bowl is disclosed. At least two wick holders are disposed in the flame bowl. The shroud connects to the flame bowl along a top thereof and is spaced apart from the flame bowl along a bottom thereof.

Twin wick torch

An apparatus having a shrouded funnel for fueling. A flow barrier is provided in the funnel that controls vapor release from a fuel canister and allows for refueling of liquid fuel without touching the apparatus.

No touch pour torch top

An insect repellant torch is disclosed. The torch has at least one repellant pad having an insect repellant contained therein that is dispersed by heat. At least one metallic plate is in contact with the repellant pad. The metallic plate is heated by a heat source and by contact with the repellant pad heats the insect replant thereby dispersing the insect repellant into the air.

An apparatus having a fuel container, a flame bowl, and a wick holder disposed proximate the flame bowl is disclosed. An open fuel filling port disposed in the flame bowl prevents entry of ignition sources into the fuel container but allows for the flow of liquid thereinto, whereby a user of the torch may refuel the torch without need to touch the torch.
