Tiles are adhesively bonded to substrates such as kitchen or bathroom walls by a process in which a tile adhesive is used, the tile adhesive being a one component RTV-1 moisture-curable tile adhesives having properties superior to conventional cementitious and RTU tile adhesives, which contain at least one low viscosity alkoxysilyl-functional polymer, a silicone resin, an aminoalkyl-functional alkoxysilane or partial hydrolysate thereof, and in excess of 60 weight percent mineral filler, of which at least 50 weight percent is a non-reinforcing filler.

Condensation-curable polyethersilicone tile adhesives

A grout compositions, storable with the exclusion of water, and crosslinkable upon ingress of water at room temperature is prepared by admixing a relatively minor proportion of a moisture-curable organopolysiloxanes, composition containing an alkoxysilyl-terminated, urethane-group-containing polymer and a silicone resin, with a major proportion of aggregate.

Curable compositions

Stable emulsions of silicone terminated polyethers and silicone resins are used to prepare one-component grout with very good mechanical properties gained within a short time after the grout cures by adding a proportion of aggregate to the emulsions.

One component ready-to-use tile grout

An omniphobic aqueous stain repellant integral grout additive contains an aminoalkyl-substituted polyorganosiloxane, preferably, a higher alkyl alkoxysilane, an organopolysiloxane T resin bearing silicon-bonded alkoxy groups, a fluoro(meth)acrylate polymer or copolymer, and preferably, a film forming (meth)acrylate polymer or copolymer latex. The omniphobic grout additive provides high stain repellancy to grout in an economic manner.

Omniphobic grout additive

Low VOC mineral surface enhancer compositions are non-yellowing and contain a condensable aminoorgano-functional organopolysiloxane fluid, a condensable organopolysiloxane resin, and a condensation catalyst. The compositions provide a durable, color enhancing wet look to mineral surfaces to which they are applied.
