Methods, system and devices for deploying an MI cable heater down-hole into a hydrocarbon reservoir are provided, wherein one or more MI cables are housed inside a protective jacket, and connected to a pump-in device. The pump-in device allows the cable to be deployed by pumping fluid down-hole, and the pump-in device catches the fluid and pulls the cable down-hole, even in a horizontal well.

An expansion loop for an above-ground pipeline that utilizes cold bent pipe sections having a bend angle of less than 90 degrees and a bend rate (in degrees per foot) of relatively low severity.

A system for measuring and monitoring multi-phase fluid production of a plurality of individual wells, each operating as part of a common production field. Upstream multi-phase flow measurements are simultaneously taken at each individual well. Downstream multi-phase flow measurements are taken at a point where the production from the entire field is combined. The downstream multi-phase flow measurement is allocated back to each individual well based on the measured upstream multi-phase flow for each individual well.

Production metering and well testing system

A method and apparatus for producing (e.g. heavy oil) through a wellbore which passes through a permafrost layer. To maintain an acceptable flow temperature inside the production tubing, a heating element (e.g. electrical power cable having its leads short-circuited) is lowered down the production tubing to generate heat inside the tubing when electricity is supplied thereto. A sensor is provided to sense the temperature inside the tubing and activate a source to supply electricity to the cable whenever the temperature inside the production tubing drops below the desired temperature.
