A method for impact initiated automated information transfer comprising detecting a physical contact between a first device and a second device, establishing a wireless communication between the devices, determining a first delta acceleration value corresponding to the first device, comparing the first delta acceleration value with a predefined range of negative delta acceleration values representing change in acceleration in a gravity direction and with a predefined range of positive delta acceleration values representing change in acceleration in a direction opposite to the direction of gravity and defining the first device to be an upper device located above the second device if the determined first delta acceleration value falls within the predefined range of positive delta acceleration values, or to be a lower device located below the second device if the determined first delta acceleration value falls within the predefined range of negative delta acceleration values.

Impact initiated automated information transfer

A method for impact initiated automated information transfer comprising causing a physical contact between a first device and a second device and determining a delta acceleration experienced by the first device during the physical contact based on a movement vector provided by a sensor module disposed in the first device. The determined delta acceleration is compared with predefined range of positive and negative delta acceleration values which represent change in acceleration along and opposite to the direction of gravity. The second device is configured to receive wirelessly a set of data from the first device if the delta acceleration is found to be in the opposite direction of gravity or to send the set of data from the second device to the first device if the delta acceleration is found to be in the direction of gravity.

Techniques are provided for implementing a custodianship model for decentralized track fusion. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes negotiating, between a first decentralized track fuser (DTF) and one or more peer DTFs. The method also includes accepting, by the first DTF, custodianship of a track of an object from one of the peer DTFs based on a first negotiation. The method further includes updating, by the first DTF, the track based on fusion of data items associated with the track. The data items are received from one or more of the peer DTFs. The method further includes transferring, by the first DTF, custodianship of the updated track to one of the peer DTFs based on a second negotiation. In some cases, the transfer may be initiated by detection of a failure state of the first DTF.

Custodianship model for decentralized track fusion

A system for delivery of payload at a precise location by autonomous delivery vehicle. A machine-readable unique identifier is laid at a place where a user wants delivery of an item. User opens a precise delivery app on smartphone, activates the scanner and standing near the unique identifier scans it. Precise delivery app reads the unique identity of the unique identifier and collects the geophysical location of the smartphone. Third party system feeds this information of the target unique identifier to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous delivery vehicle includes a first prior art navigator and a second scanner navigator. The autonomous vehicle determines its route to the approximate location of the target unique identifier with the help of the first prior art navigator and the second scanner navigator scans every unique identifier that may be present around that location and guides the autonomous vehicle to the target unique identifier.

The invention relates to hinged supports using torsion bars for the doors of microwave ovens. For light-weight doors, the torsion bars extend beyond the sides of the doors and interlock with the oven structure to constitute the sole supporting means. For heavier doors, the torsion bars are provided with pivot shaft extensions mounted in bearings in the doors, which interlock with the oven structure. The torsion bars are preloaded to bias the doors closed in the light-weight door constructions, and operate in all cases to reduce the dead weight of the doors when in their open, horizontal positions. The side extensions interlockingly engage brackets in the oven structure aided by the weight of the doors, and permit the doors to be lifted readily therefrom. Although the invention is especially useful and is herein particularly described in connection with microwave ovens, no unnecessary limitation thereto is intended because this invention has application also to other appliances such as conventional ovens, dishwashers, etc.

A radiant energy collector panel comprises a plurality of outwardly facing open ended channels extending inwardly from the outer face of the panel for receiving radiant energy directed at the outer face of the panel wherein each channel includes an inwardly extending concave interface surface and an opposed inwardly extending convex interface surface. The opposed inwardly extending concave and convex interface surfaces provide increased areas exposed to the radiant energy, absorb and substantially reflect and amplify radiant energy of larger angle of incidence inwardly to the inner portion of the channel, substantially absorb radiant energy of smaller angle of incidence of the primary and reflected radiant energy, and reabsorb reradiated energy of lower spectral frequency therefrom, to provide a collector panel of relatively high efficiency. Various forms of such collector panels are disclosed. The radiant energy collector panel may be arranged inside an essentially slanted heat exchange passage and insulating space connected by upper and lower horizontal ducts to a substantially vertically arranged heat storage passage containing a heat storing medium. A heat transfer medium, such as air, gravity circulates through the passages and ducts absorbing heat from the collector panel in the heat exchanging passage and heating the heat storing medium in the heat storage passage.

Each of a pair of drawer channel members is affixed to a correspondong side of a drawer having spaced opposite sides and opens outward toward a frame having a chamber therein accommodating the drawer and having spaced opposite sides, the sides being parallel. Each of a pair of frame channel members is affixed to a corresponding side of the frame in the chamber and opens inward toward the drawer and is positioned adjacent the corresponding drawer channel member. The channel members are positioned parallel. Each of a pair of extension bars is slidably positioned between a corresponding one of the drawer channel members and the adjacent frame channel member. Each of the channel members and each of the extension bars is shaped in a manner whereby each of the extension bars restrains, or is restrained by, the corresponding drawer channel member and frame channel member in sliding next-adjacent relation. Bores are formed through the extension bars. Rollers are rotatably mounted in the bores through the extension bars at predetermined angles of inclination with the sides of the drawer and the chamber of the frame. The rollers extend beyond the bars. Each of the rollers abuts and rolls on part of a drawer channel member and part of the corresponding frame channel member. The drawer and/or frame channel members may be tool-worked or molded right into position instead of constituting separate parts, or they may be provided with tabs, flanges, mounting holes, kerfs, grooves, or the like, for ease of assembly to said drawer and/or frame, and such assembly facilitating features may also serve as means to simplify and strengthen construction, assembly and fastening of elements of said drawer and frame. Furthermore, the drawer and frame relative sliding arrangement may be applied to any mechanically similar applicaton, not otherwise resembling exactly the features described herein.
