A rotor for a reluctance machine and a method of producing a rotor for a reluctance machine is provided. The rotor is formed as a soft magnetic element which is cylindrical in shape. The soft magnetic element has recesses for forming flux barriers, one or more flux barriers being at least partially filled with a filler material, and the filler material of said flux barriers extending up to the rotor periphery and forming part of the rotor periphery.

A method and apparatus for controlling the motor of a synchronous reluctance motor for a pump, in particular a centrifugal pump, are provided. The motor includes a variable-frequency drive which controls the synchronous reluctance motor in a terminal volts/hertz operation. A rotor for an electrical machine, in particular synchronous reluctance machine, is provided. The rotor is formed as a cylindrical structure having a magnetically soft element formed with an even number of salient magnetic poles openings for forming magnetic flux barriers. The openings are at least partially filled with a diamagnetic and/or paramagnetic medium and the diamagnetic and/or paramagnetic medium may axially and tangentially fix the magnetically soft element relative to the rotor. A method for producing such a rotor and apparatus using the rotor, including a reluctance motor, in particular a synchronous reluctance motor, that uses the rotor are provided.

The sensor module is connected to a power supply and processes the measured values. Sensors that are connected to the sensor module are identified. The sensor module is constructed as a signal transmitter with a standardized output signal, an integrated evaluation unit, which has a microcomputer, and a display. The evaluation unit processes the measured values from the sensors and displays measured values and/or calculated variables on the display.
