Techniques are described herein that are capable of creating a language-agnostic computer program repair engine generator. A context-free grammar is annotated to identify token(s) that are likely to be included in or excluded from a computer program in a manner that violates the context-free grammar. A language-agnostic computer program repair engine generator is created that is configured to generate a parser. The repair engine generator is configured to create a repair engine that: converts the candidate string into repaired strings that neither violate the context-free grammar nor violate a criterion for a valid computer program; calculates differences between the candidate string and the respective repaired strings; and replaces the candidate string with a designated repaired string based at least in part on the difference between the designated repaired string and the candidate string being less than or equal to a difference threshold.

Language-agnostic computer program repair engine generator

Various technologies described herein pertain to interactive data splitting. A program for splitting an input column of an input data set into multiple output columns can be synthesized based on input-only examples. The program can further be generated based on various user input; thus, the user input can guide the synthesis of the program. Moreover, the program can be executed on the input data set to split the input column of the input data set into the multiple output columns.

A method for generating a smaller dataset from a larger dataset, each dataset holding a plurality of records, includes profiling the larger dataset to identify a plurality of patterns, each of which is descriptive of one or more records held in the larger dataset. A plurality of slots of the smaller dataset is filled with records held in the larger dataset. Multiple records held in the larger dataset are individually retrieved, and for each retrieved record it is determined whether to place the retrieved record into a slot of the smaller dataset and evict a record already occupying that slot, or not place the retrieved record into the smaller dataset. This determination is based on a pattern of the retrieved record and a representation status of the pattern in the smaller dataset.

Systems and methods that enable relationship information to be carried along with data objects when serializing/deserializing data objects among application tiers. A tracking component tracks information on relationships associated with a data object, and further enables subsequent change processing on the data object's relationship information. Accordingly, relationship information can be carried along with the data object, such that database operation can be performed without requirement of additional information from the database (e.g., foreign key information that is part of associated graphs).

A facility for replicating offline scheduling transactions directed to a server is provided. The facility is implemented as a client-side application that integrates with and utilizes components of a store-and-forward application, which is operable to execute on a client to guarantee that transactions submitted on the client are replicated and carried out on a service hosted on a remote server even in light of intermittent connectivity between the client, the server, and networks. Records describing transactions intended remote service are written to an outbox of the store-and-forward application on the client. When online, the store-and-forward application first invokes the facility, which processes the items in the outbox by iteratively retrieving the items from the outbox and, for each item, determining whether the item is a transaction intended for the scheduling application. If the item is intended for the scheduling application, the facility sends the item to the scheduling application. Otherwise, if the item is not intended for the scheduling application, the facility returns the item to the outbox for processing by other components of the store-and-forward application.

The claimed subject matter provides a system and/or a method that facilitates handling a change associated with a database. An interface that can receive data associated with a change to data via an object graph. A state transition logic component that can maintain the change related to the object graph utilizing a context and a respective set of rules, the context employs metadata to view the object graph with an abstraction of at least one of an entity and a relationship.

Thus, the presentation of the web part is modified in accordance with the specification file to provide a modified presentation.

Method, system, and apparatus for customizing web parts

A method, system, and apparatus for implementing object interfaces at runtime are provided. According to the method, a request is received for a resource that includes a client side object that supports an object interface. In response to the request, program code is generated that implements the interface. Once the program code implementing the object interface has been generated, the requested resource and the program code implementing the object interface are returned in response to the request for the resource. An intermediary object for mediating communication between objects is also generated and returned in response to the request. If the object interface implements an interface for consuming data, the object interface registers itself with the intermediary object as an event consumer. If the object interface implements a provider interface, the object interface calls the intermediary object in response to the occurrence of a specified type of event.
