A vehicle is provided with a multiphase electrical machine, a first onboard electrical sub-system having a first nominal DC voltage, and a second onboard electrical sub-system having a second nominal DC voltage. The electrical machine includes a rotor, a first stator system and a second stator system. The first onboard electrical sub-system includes a first inverter with a first link capacitor. The first stator system is associated with the first inverter. The second onboard electrical sub-system includes a second inverter with a second link capacitor. The second stator system is associated with the second inverter. The first stator system is configured in a star configuration. The second stator system is configured in a star configuration or in a delta configuration. A transfer circuit connects the star point of the first stator system to a higher potential of the second onboard electrical sub-system.

Vehicle with electrical machine and method for operating the same

A vehicle with an N-phase electric motor, with a first onboard electrical subsystem and with a second onboard electrical subsystem, wherein the electric motor includes a rotor and a stator system, and the first onboard electrical subsystem includes an inverter. The stator system is associated with the inverter and the electric motor is operable with an inverter controller according to the principle of field-oriented control such that the stator system is embodied in a star circuit in which the star point can be connected to the second onboard electrical subsystem directly or via a star point switch. The inverter controller includes a current controller and a star point controller, wherein the current controller controls phase currents of the stator system and the star point controller controls a star point current.

Vehicle having an electric machine and two onboard power subsystems

A vehicle is configured with an N-phase electric machine, a first on-board electrical sub-system and a second on-board electrical sub-system. The electric machine includes a rotor and a stator system, wherein the first onboard electrical sub-system includes an inverter and the stator system is linked to the inverter. The electric machine can be operated using an inverter controller on the principle of a field-oriented control system, so that the electric machine is linked to a control unit, wherein the inverter can be controlled by the control unit, and the control unit uses a phased activation method to control the inverter.

Activation method for an electric machine

A system and method are provided for starting an internal-combustion engine arranged in a vehicle equipped with an electric machine that at least temporarily drives the internal-combustion engine and a first electrical energy storage unit. An adjusting unit is provided by which the electric machine is connectable with the first storage unit. The adjusting unit is configured to detect at least one defined internal-combustion engine operating state and/or at least one defined vehicle operating state and, at least as a function of the detected internal-combustion engine operating state and/or the detected vehicle operating state, for adjusting an electric quantity which determines an electric power drawn from the first storage unit by the electric machine when driving the internal-combustion engine, or for itself adjusting the drawn electric power.

Device and method for starting an internal combustion engine arranged in a vehicle

The invention relates to a vehicle having a multiphase electric machine, comprising a first onboard power subsystem provided with a first nominal DC voltage level, and a second onboard power subsystem provided with a second nominal DC voltage level, wherein the electric machine comprises a rotor, a first stator system, and a second stator system. The first onboard power subsystem comprises a first inverter having a first intermediate circuit capacitor. The first stator system is dedicated to the first inverter. The second onboard power subsystem comprises a second inverter having a second intermediate circuit capacitor, and the second stator system is dedicated to the second inverter. The first stator system is configured in a star connection, the second stator system is configured in a star connection, and a transfer circuit connects the star point of the first stator system to the star point of the second stator system.
