A torsion filtering mechanism () has a first rotating member (), a second rotating member () movable with respect to the first rotating member (), a cam track () rotating with one () of the rotating members, and at least one associated cam follower () carried by the other () rotating member. The cam track () has, in a section plane perpendicular to the axis of revolution, a profile constituted by a plurality of circular arcs (A, A, A, A, A) adjacent pairwise and having an intersection point pairwise. Any two adjacent circular arcs from among the circular arcs have different finite or infinite radii of curvature, and indistinguishable tangents at the intersection point.

Transmission torque converter device

A filtering mechanism for torque fluctuations is interposed between a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and a transmission. This mechanism comprises a rotating member to be damped, an oscillating inertial flywheel rotating around the axis of revolution, and pivot-mounted modules allowing angular deflection of the oscillating inertial flywheel with respect to the member to be damped. The modules each have at least one oscillating arm pivoting radially with respect to the member to be damped and a kinematic connecting member between the oscillating arm and the oscillating inertial flywheel. When the mechanism rotates centrifugal forces on the oscillating arm produce a counteracting torque that tends to return the oscillating inertial flywheel and the member to be damped toward the equilibrium position. The counteracting torque increases with the rotation speed of the filtering mechanism and with the amplitude of the angular deflection.

Mechanism for filtering torque fluctuations of secondary member

A system () for coupling a drive shaft () of a motor vehicle and a coaxial transmission shaft (A,B) is disclosed. The coupling includes a front friction clutch device () which comprises a rotary drive assembly () comprising a reaction plate (). The coupling further includes a rear flywheel () coaxial to the drive assembly (), which flywheel is designed to be connected in rotation to the drive shaft (). The coupling further includes an element () for connection in rotation of the flywheel () and the drive assembly () of the clutch device (), which includes a first, male element () and a second, female element () which are designed to be fitted axially in a sliding manner. The elements () are provided with fittings which are adjustable axially in a predetermined gap, in that a further element () is provided for circumferential clamping of the male element () into the female element () in a clamped state, the male () and female () elements being positioned and engaged without circumferential play, and in that the coupling includes additional () fasteners for blocking the male () and female () elements rigidly in their clamped state.

A double damping flywheel comprises primary and secondary coaxial members. The members are rotatable relative to one another and coupled by first and second damping elements arranged in series by a connecting web. The first damping element includes at least one curved elastic member running circumferentially between two first seatings. The second damping element includes at least two groups of elastic members, each including at least two straight elastic members arranged in series by an intermediate bearing element. Each of the groups of straight elastic members runs circumferentially between two second seatings. An annular member for phasing the straight elastic members, separate from the connecting web, carries the intermediate bearing element of each group. The difference between the maximum angular displacement between the primary member and the connecting web, and the maximum angular displacement between the secondary member and the connecting web, is less than 30&#xb0;.

A coil spring has a spring wire wound in a coil shape having an outer diameter side portion and an inner diameter side portion on a peripheral shape in a cross section thereof, one of the outer diameter side portion and inner diameter side portion formed in a semi-circular shape expressed by x+y=b, the other thereof formed in a non-circular shape with a long diameter 'a' and a short diameter 'b' expressed by (x/a)+(y/b)=1, and value of the &#x201c;&#x3b1;&#x201d; set in a range of 1.85 to 2.45, and contact faces provided between the inner diameter side portion and the outer diameter side portion on the peripheral shape in the cross section such that each contact face comes into contact with a contact face of an adjacent coil in an axial direction along an axis line of the coil spring.

The invention relates to a flexible flywheel (), in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising at least two stacked flexible discs (). The inner peripheries () of the flexible discs are secured to a drive shaft, and the outer peripheries () of are secured to an inertia mass (). Each flexible disc () includes at least two parallel flat parts (), which are offset axially (D, D) and connected to one another by a curved part (). The curved parts () of the discs () are substantially nested one inside the other, characterized in that, in at least one region adjacent to a curved part, the discs () are spaced one from the other so as to form a space () which facilitates the axial deformation of the discs ().

Flexible flywheel

A friction clutch device for coupling a first rear motor shaft to a second front forced shaft by allowing free relative axial displacement between the two shafts. The clutch device includes a double shock-absorbing steering wheel having a primary couple input assembly which is fixedly mounted axially to the motor shaft, a secondary couple output assembly which is rotatably connected to a reactive plate of the clutch device which is supported by the forced shaft. An elastic circumferential action member is arranged in a cavity that is peripheral to the primary assembly to rotatably connect the secondary assembly, with circumferential shock absorption, to the primary assembly. The secondary assembly is fixedly mounted axially relative to the reactive plate.

In a vibration filter for a transmission with automatic gear changing for a motor vehicle, including a torsion damper disposed between an input or driving element arranged to be driven in rotation by the crankshaft of the motor vehicle engine, and an output or driven shaft arranged to be coupled to an input shaft or driven shaft of the transmission, the torsion damper includes elastic means: the stiffness of the damper is variable and is obtained by virtue of the said elastic means, which are in the form of helical springs oriented substantially radially; the input element is a primary flywheel () which has at its radially inner periphery an axial flange () for supporting a bearing () which centers and guides in rotation a secondary inertial flywheel () constituting the output element.

A double flywheel vibration damper including two coaxial masses free to rotate relative to each other and acting against elastic parts, in which one of the masses, referred to as the first mass, is intended to be fastened to a drive shaft, whereas the other mass, referred to as the second mass, includes a reaction plate assuring rotational connection to a driven shaft, and in which the first mass has a central hub projecting axially and carrying bearing member operating between the second mass and the central hub to enable the second mass to rotate on the first mass, wherein the central hub comprises two aligned coaxial parts, namely a first hub supporting the second mass rotationally via the bearing member fitted on this first hub, and a second hub intended to be fastened to the drive shaft, and wherein the second hub constitutes an axial spacer between the drive shaft and the first hub. The invention is applicable to motor vehicle transmission systems.
