This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to allocating non-continuous resource units (RUs). A device may determine a non-continuous RU allocation for one or more devices in a 80 MHz bandwidth including four 20 MHz channels, the non-continuous RU allocation including disabled tones of a 20 MHz channel of the four 20 MHz channels, and the disabled tones being a subset of tones within the 20 MHz channel. The device may determine a high efficiency wireless frame comprising an indication of the non-continuous RU allocation. The device may send the high efficiency wireless frame to one or more multiple devices.

Enhanced resource allocation for wireless communications

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to link recommendation. A device may determine that a first STA associated with an AP MLD requires transitioning a first station device (STA) to at least one AP MLD of a plurality of AP MLDs. The device may generate a basic service set transition management (BTM) frame comprising a neighbor report element for a first AP MLD of the plurality of AP MLDs. The device may include a Multi-Link information element for the first AP MLD of the plurality of AP MLDs, wherein the Multi-Link information element is for recommending the transition of the first STA to the first AP MLD of the first AP MLD. The device may configure the processing circuitry to send the BTM frame to the first STA.

Link recommendation for basic service set transition management request for a multi-link device

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to group addressed data delivery. A device may determine a plurality of links between one or more access points (APs) in an AP multi-link device (MLD) and one or more logical non-AP stations (STAs) in a non-AP MLD. The device may determine one or more group addressed frames to be sent from the one or more APs of the AP MLD to the one or more non-AP STAs of the non-AP MLD. The device may generate a delivery traffic indication map (DTIM) associated with each link to be used by the one or more non-AP STAs of the non-AP MLD to receive group addressed frames. The device may perform an action based on whether the non-AP MLD sent an indication that a first link of the plurality of links is selected by the non-AP MLD for receiving a first group addressed frame from the one or more group addressed frames.

Group addressed data delivery

A device may configure a single N×N transmit (TX)/receive (RX) radio to a plurality of 1×1 TX/RX radios, where N is a positive integer. Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for communicating elements between multi-link devices are disclosed. Apparatuses of a multi-link device (MLD) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to encode a management frame, the management frame comprising a link information field, the link information field indicating a first link of the MLD for which management information is applicable and configure a non-access point (AP) of the MLD or a station (STA) of the MUD to transmit the management frame on a second link of the MLD. The processing circuitry is further configured to decode a second management frame, the second management frame comprising a second link information field, the second link information field indicating a second link of the MLD for which second management information is applicable.

A device may establish a communication channel with one or more station devices (STAs). The device may generate an extreme high throughput signal field (EHT-SIG) of a header, wherein the EHT-SIG field comprises information associated with resource allocations (RUs). The device may generate one or more pairwise security keys to be used in the multi-link communication on the two or more links. A multi-link device (MLD) may establish a first communication link between a first device of the MLD and a first device of a second MLD, and a second communication link between a second device of the MLD and a second device of the second MLD. The MLD may generate a group-addressed message. The MLD may protect the group-addressed message using a first key or a first integrity key. The MLD may protect the group-addressed message using a second key or a second integrity key. A device may generate a request frame with at least one of a first indication of a bandwidth for which a second device is to measure a first noise level or a second indication of a resource unit for which the second device is to measure a second noise level. The device may send the request frame to the second device. The device may identify a response frame received from the second device, the response frame having a third indication of the first noise level or the second noise level and a fourth indication of the bandwidth or the resource unit. This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to high throughput (HT) control information. A device may determine a frame comprising HT control information. The device may determine to extend a size of the HT control information. The device may cause to generate a management or data frame for sending to a first station device of one or more station devices, the management or data frame comprising extended high throughput (HT) control information, define a new control identification (ID) associated with the extended HT control information, and cause to send the management or data frame to the first station device.

High throughput control information and field extension

Multi-link device (MLD) security association (SA) query and query response procedures are described. Any of the links between an access point (AP) MLD and a non-AP MLD may be used to initiate association, reassociation, or disassociation procedures using the SA query requests and responses. The SA query request or response from one of the stations (STAs) associated with the MLD is sent to a corresponding linked one of the STAs associated with the other MLD. The SA request or response is addressed to the other MLD rather than the STA of the other MLD. Retry timeouts and maximum timeouts for resending SA query requests are set by the AP MLD and the same across each of the links.

Multi-link device security association query

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced frame exchange. A device may generate a first subset of a plurality of fields, wherein the first subset is mandatory in a probe request frame. The device may generate a second subset of the plurality of fields, wherein the second subset is optional in the probe request frame regardless of capability information of the device. The device may generate the probe request frame comprising the first subset and the second subset. The device may cause to send the probe request frame to an access point (AP) device.
