An archery bow adjuster includes first and second adjuster portions. The first portion is configured to mount to one of a bowstring and a cable. The second portion is configured to mount to the one of the bowstring and the cable. The first portion is rotatable relative to the second portion to adjust a length of the one of the bowstring and the cable of an archery bow.

What is disclosed is a slideable weight for use on an archery bow. The slideable weight is configured to travel from a position near a limb of an archery bow or a pulley of a compound archery bow toward a midline of the bowstring. This creates a catapult like effect that increases the speed of an arrow released from the bow. The device can conceivably be used on any archery bow, including compound, recurve, or other bow.

This bow constrictor allows a peep sight or other device to be easily served in to a bowstring or bow cable without the expense and time-consuming services of a professional. A user simply splits the bowstring strands then inserts the bowstring constrictor with an associated device, guiding the bowstring through the grooves of the constrictor. The grooves couple the constrictor tightly to the bowstring applying minimal stress with minimal resultant wear. The attachment mechanism may be incorporated as a single unit into peep sights, knotting devices, cable weights or other devices of use to an archer or bow hunter. An independent, standalone version may also be used to spread and then constrict cable strands to support other items. Though designed to meet the needs of an archer or bow hunter with regard to a bowstring or bow cable, the described mechanism is scalable for other uses as well.

An archery bow has a handle pivotally attached to the riser. An indicator alerts the archer when the bow and handle are in proper alignment with reduced torque. Reduced bow torque results in improved accuracy.

A game call system includes a mouthpiece that produces sound by a plurality of reed or membrane portions vibrating against or near a plurality of sound-producing surfaces. Preferably, the game call has two recessed or curved or contoured surfaces on two halves of a generally circular end of the mouthpiece, with an aperture between the two curved/contoured surfaces. These surfaces may be identical, substantially identical, or different, and the reeds or reed portions also may be identical, substantially identical, and or different. Air passes over the reed(s) to create vibrations in the reed(s), and the resulting sound waves pass through the center aperture of the mouthpiece into the resonating chamber of the call, and through any resonating tube or other member that may optionally be present. The multiple sound-producing regions allow for more complex and/or realistic sounds than conventional single sound-producing region and single reed calls.

Wild game call

A game call includes a mouthpiece having a plurality of vibrating reed areas, and/or a mouthpiece that is adjustable relative to the housing, to produce unusual and complex sounds that are very much like wild game sounds. The plurality of reed areas may be two areas of a single tubular reed vibrating on different areas of the mouthpiece, and, preferably, vibrating on opposite sides of the mouthpiece. The opposite sides of the mouthpiece may include surface contours, including indentures, curvatures, or orifices, which cooperate with the vibrating reed and/or subsequently affect the air waves created by the vibrating reed. The mouthpiece cooperates with a housing, so that air from the user's mouth travels across the reed areas, creating vibrations in the air, which air vibrations travel into the housing resonating chamber, and out to the surrounding area. Modifying the reed, number and shape of the contours, indentures, and/or apertures, and/or the position of the mouthpiece relative to the resonating chamber, affects the sounds produced, allowing the mouthpiece to be adapted into calls for a variety of wild game species.

The invention is a wild game call mouthpiece of generally tubular form with a generally rectangular lip extending out from its cylindrical surface at its inlet end. The lip has lateral edges which transition into the tubular body near the inlet opening. In the central region of the lip, beginning from its distal end and continuing towards its proximal end, is a depression which extends generally midway to the lateral edges, and which becomes more pronounced near the inlet opening of the call. Then, past the zone where the lip transitions into the tubular body, is a curved, hollowed-out zone which creates the beginning of a resonating chamber which extends back through the center of the tubular body. An elastic plastic sleeve is inserted over the extended portion of the lip to create a resonating reed which can be activated by a sportsman blowing into the inlet of the call.

The invention is a wild game call mouthpiece of generally tubular form with a generally rectangular lip extending out from its cylindrical surface at its inlet end. An elastic plastic sleeve is inserted over the extended portion of the lip to create a resonating reed which can be activated by a sportsman blowing into the inlet of the call.

A sonic archery beacon (10) is disclosed which employs a circuit (21) carried by an arrow (1) which includes an audible signal generator being configured to mimic the sound of a naturally occurring insect, bird or the like. Circuit (21) is activated by an inertia switch (22) which is responsive to a drastic change in acceleration such as that experienced when an arrow impacts with an object, animal or the ground. The audible signal generator implements an oscillator (23) in combination with a miniature speaker or piezo electric transducer (24) having an output which mimics a cricket. Magnetic/mechanical inertia switch (22) has a magnet (32) slidably positioned within a tube (26) having ferromagnetic objects (34 and 35) at both ends of tube (26). When the magnet (32) is positioned at one end of the tube against the pair of and will close in response to the magnetic field of magnet (25) when the magnet is positioned at that end.

Deer call

A deer call 10 having a pair of opposing convex half shells 11 and 12 attached one to the other and having a concave inner surface, together form a longitudinal air passage. A pair of venturi bars 16, one each transversely disposed on each half shell 11 and 12 form a venturi within the air passage. A doubled band reed 15 is disposed within the venturi, essentially parallel to both venturi bars 16. The doubled band reed 15 is constructed from a polyethylene plastic sheet being folded in half and heat sealed along the folded edge 18. The heat sealed edge 18 is located within the venturi on the upstream end, while the pair of unconnected edges 19 are located on the downstream end.
