A packaging and dispenser device for a composition may include: a casing containing a reserve of composition; a composition-dispenser mechanism including a rotary member, which, when turned in a first direction, is accompanied by the composition being dispensed; and an actuator system configured to turn on the rotary member of the composition dispenser mechanism. The actuator system may include: a first pushbutton configured to turn the rotary member in the first direction; and a second pushbutton configured to turn the rotary member in a second direction, opposite to the first direction. The rotary member being turned in the first direction may be independent of the rotary member being turned in the second direction.

A packaging and applicator device may include a receptacle for containing a composition to be applied and an applicator including an applicator element that is configured to be inserted into the receptacle for taking the composition. The receptacle may include a body and a movable system that is movable inside the body. The movable system may include a wiper member that includes only one opening through which the applicator element passes while the applicator element is being inserted into the receptacle, the movable system being configured so as to move in a generally unidirectional manner toward a bottom of the receptacle under an effect of a force exerted by the applicator while the applicator is being inserted into the receptacle.

An assembly for packaging and dispensing liquid may include a receptacle for containing a supply of liquid and a refillable unit arranged to be placed in a separable manner on the receptacle. The refillable unit may include a body and a piston that is movable relative to the body and that co-operates therewith to define a storage chamber of variable volume for containing the liquid. The storage chamber may be put into fluid communication with the receptacle to be filled therefrom when the refillable unit is placed on the receptacle. The refillable unit may also include a pump arranged to take liquid from the receptacle when the refillable unit is placed thereon, and to take liquid from the storage chamber when the refillable unit is separate from the receptacle. The pump may include a pump chamber that is distinct from the storage chamber.

A pump may comprise a body, and a member movable relative to the body substantially along an axis of the pump. A pumping chamber may be defined by at least the body and the member. The pumping chamber may comprise a peripheral wall. The pump may further comprise an elastically deformable membrane comprising a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may be axially fixed relative to the peripheral wall, as well as being in contact with an inner surface of the peripheral wall at least in the presence of overpressure in the pumping chamber, and configured to place the pumping chamber in selective communication with at least one inlet passage. The second portion may be configured to place the pumping chamber in selective communication with at least one outlet passage.

A device for packaging and dispensing of a cosmetic product which includes a container to hold the product, with the container being delineated by a body. A movable element moves relative to the container body and is capable, in response to an action exerted manually on a surface of an actuating element, of moving from a first position to a second position. The movable element incorporates a first lip intended to engage with an inner wall of the body, during at least part of its movement, thereby isolating a dose of product inside the container in a manner to cause its expulsion through at least one dispensing aperture. The movable element also includes an upper lip capable of being applied in a leaktight manner against the inner wall during at least part of its movement from the first position to the second.
