A ventilation unit () is formed by at least one fan (), a heat exchanger, axially spaced from the fan (), and a housing (). The housing () has a first housing section (), with a constant flow cross-section, where the heat exchanger is arranged. A second housing section () adjoins the first section () in the axial flow direction. The fan () is arranged on the second housing section () in the axial flow direction. During operation, the fan conveys air through the heat exchanger, arranged in the first housing section (), and through the second housing section (). The flow cross-section of the second housing section () is reduced in the flow direction from the first housing section () to the fan () by an adaptation to the form of housing wall sections (') of the second housing section ().

Ventilation unit

A flow guiding device for use on a fan assembly with a motor-operated radial impeller rotating about an axis of rotation. The guiding device has an outer housing and an inner diffuser. A flow duct is formed between the outer housing and inner diffuser. The flow duct extends along an axial flow direction. The outer housing forms a receiving space for the integral holding of the radial impeller. The impeller borders, in the axial direction, on the inner diffuser. The impeller, during operation, takes in a flow axially and blows it out radially into the flow duct. The flow duct is adapted to deflect the flow from a radial direction into an axial direction.

The invention relates to a turbocompressor () comprising a compressor housing () and a compressor wheel () with blades (). The compressor wheel () is rotatably mounted relative to the compressor housing () and is arranged such that the exposed upper edges of the blades () are spaced from a compressor housing () wall () facing the blade upper edges across a head gap (), wherein both the upper edges of the blades () as well as the housing wall () have at least one recess () and at least one elevation () over the respective Meridian contour, said recess and elevation interacting locally such that the head gap () defines a Z-shaped course in the region of the recesses () and the elevations () when viewed on a Meridian plane.

Fan part

A return geometry fluidically connects a first and a second compressor stage of the turbocompressor. The return geometry has multiple partial helices that are evenly or unevenly distributed in the circumferential direction. The multiple partial helices extend at least in part in the circumferential direction. They form flow channels that extend at least in some sections, separately from each other, to fluidically connect the first and second compressor stages.

A blower arrangement comprising an impeller, which has an axial intake opening formed by a cover plate covering impeller blades at least in sections, by an intake nozzle connected upstream of the impeller, which extends at least in sections into an overlap section in the intake opening of the impeller, wherein a circumferential nozzle gap is formed between the intake nozzle and the cover plate of the impeller, an outer nozzle, which is arranged spaced apart in the radial direction in relation to the impeller and the intake nozzle and enclosing them in the circumferential direction. A first circumferential radial gap is provided between the outer nozzle and the intake nozzle, which forms an inlet nozzle duct extending in the flow direction. A second circumferential radial gap is provided between the outer nozzle and the cover plate of the impeller, which forms a gap duct extending in the flow direction.

The disclosure relates to a blade edge of at least one blade of an air-conveying wheel with an axial-side blade edge contour which extends from a blade leading edge to a blade trailing edge along a curve, wherein the blade edge contour has at least one front section which adjoins the blade leading edge in the radial direction, a rear section which adjoins the blade trailing edge in the radial direction, and a central section which lies between the front section and the rear section. The blade edge contour has an S-shaped curve progression in the central section in a lateral cross-sectional view, thus increasing an axial height of the blade in the direction of the blade trailing edge.
