A vehicle includes a rear cargo scuff and a rear cargo area that has a floor including a cover that can be selectively opened to access a tool tray below the floor. A tool tray is connected to the rear cargo scuff by a first hinge. The tool tray is configured to rotate between a first position and a second position, such that the tool tray rests below a top surface of the floor in the first position and is positioned above the top surface of the floor in the second position. The tool tray also includes a tool receiving portion configured to receive one or more tools. The tool tray includes a lid coupled to a second hinge, where the lid is configured to rotate between a closed position and an open position via a second hinge.

A cargo management system is provided for a storage area of a motor vehicle. That cargo management system includes a dynamic load floor, a storage tub and a swing arm assembly connecting the dynamic load floor to the storage tub and allowing the dynamic load floor to be selectively positioned into multiple configurations.

A vehicle having first and second seat rows supported by a floor and a lift gate for accessing a cargo area partially defined by the second seat row, the floor, and the lift gate includes first and second flexible covers positioned within at least one cassette in a retracted position. The at least one cassette is positioned adjacent a floor of the vehicle behind the second seat row. At least one of the first and flexible covers may include a pass through door allowing for storage of elongated cargo when at least a portion of the second seat row is folded down. The pass through door may be secured in a closed position by a zipper, a hook and loop fastener, at least one magnet, or at least one snap.

Multi-function/position cover system for a vehicle cargo area

A cover for a vehicle cargo compartment includes a shade having a first end and a second end. The shade extends from the first edge at a distance from a floor of the cargo compartment. The second end is anchored between two side panels. The cover further includes a storage pocket attached to the first edge of the shade. The storage pocket extends in the plane of the shade to a gate. The storage pocket is selectively attached to the gate. The storage pocket defines a pocket including an upper portion, a lower portion, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism detachably connects the upper and lower portions.
