A point of sale system is provided. The point of sale system includes a portable electronic device and a first shroud configured to be coupled to the portable electronic device. The system also includes a point of sale device configured to communicate with the portable electronic device, and a second shroud configured to be coupled to the point of sale device. The system further includes an accessory device configured to communicate with the portable electronic device and a third shroud configured to be coupled to the accessory device. The first shroud is configured to be removably attached to the first shroud to facilitate communication between the portable electronic device and the point of sale device, and the third shroud is configured to be removably attached to the first shroud to facilitate communication between the portable electronic device and the accessory device.

Point-of-sale system with multiple shrouds

A security device for securing an item of merchandise from theft is provided. The security device includes a housing configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise and a lock mechanism operably engaged with the housing. The lock mechanism is operable to lock the item of merchandise within or to the housing in a locked configuration and to allow the item of merchandise to be removed from the housing in an unlocked configuration. The lock mechanism is configured to communicate with an electronic key for locking and/or unlocking thereof.

Security device

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to security systems for securing an item of merchandise from theft or unauthorized removal. For example, the security system may include a sensor configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise, wherein the sensor includes an electrical connector. The security system also includes a base configured to removably support the sensor thereon, wherein the base includes an electronics module having a connector. The connector of the sensor and the connector of the electronics module are configured to electrically connect with one another when the sensor is supported on the base, and the sensor is configured to detect unauthorized removal of the item of merchandise from the sensor.

Merchandise security system

An anti-theft device for protecting a portable electronic device from theft or unauthorized removal in a retail environment is provided. The anti-theft device includes a shroud configured to at least partially receive and engage a portable electronic device. The anti-theft device also includes a dock configured to releasably engage the shroud. The dock is configured to engage the shroud in a locked configuration so as to prevent removal of the shroud and the portable electronic device from the dock and to disengage the shroud in an unlocked configuration so as to allow the shroud and the portable electronic device to be removed from the dock.

Full facemask including a face seal configured to directly engage a face of an individual. The face seal defines a lens opening. The full facemask also includes a mask lens that is coupled to the face seal and disposed within the lens opening. The mask lens has a passage edge that defines a cartridge passage through the mask lens. The full facemask also includes a cartridge module having at least one of a filter or an air regulator. The cartridge module is disposed within the cartridge passage and circumscribed by the passage edge of the mask lens. The full facemask also includes a locking member that includes a first member surface that directly engages the mask lens and a second member surface that directly engages the cartridge module. The locking member secures the mask lens and the cartridge module in fixed positions with respect to each other.

Reconfigurable full facemask having a cartridge module for respiratory protection

An improved head harness is disclosed for use with full face respirators. The head harness may include an elastomeric core having a central portion and a plurality of radiating arms. The plurality of radiating arms may be connected to a plurality of non-elastic straps. A fabric cover may completely enclose the elastomeric core, including the plurality of radiating arms. The cover may include a plurality of openings corresponding to the plurality of straps, so that when assembled, only the straps protrude from the openings. As described, the elastomeric core and elastomeric radiating arms are separated from a user's hair by the fabric cover. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Head harness

A low-profile filter frame is disclosed for maintaining an open filter plenum configuration during normal operation, and for enabling quick and reliable negative pressure testing. The frame has upper and lower halves. A breathing tube in the lower half connects to a respirator port. The upper and lower halves snap together to maintain the structure in an assembled configuration. The halves also include features that bias the halves apart when the device is in the assembled configuration, thereby maintaining the breathing tube open. To perform a fit test, a force is applied to an outer surface of the upper half, which moves the halves together, in opposition to the bias, so that the upper half seals against the breathing tube. The frame can be provide in as a single-piece, with a living hinge connecting upper and lower halves, or the upper and lower halves can be separate pieces.
