A cutting head selectively engageable with a first support tongue having by a pair of ribs disposed on the bottom of the tongue, and selectively engageable with a second support tongue having a substantially planar bottom surface, the cutting head comprising a bottom plate having an upper surface, an upper plate supported by the upper surface, a spring fixed to the bottom plate for biasing the upper plate against the upper surface, and a single tongue-receiving socket for snugly receiving the first support tongue and for snugly receiving the second support tongue.

A hair trimmer including a body having opposite ends and an axis extending between the opposite ends, a blade set mounted on the body at one of the opposite ends, a comb disposed on the one end of the body for axial movement relative to the blade set, a lever supported by the comb for rotatably engaging the body, and a mechanism for axially displacing the comb in response to rotation of the lever.

An anchor spreader having a frame which mounts a head assembly for vertical movement between a raised travel position and a lowered operative position and with the head assembly having spreader members which can be positioned immediately above a tie and inwardly of portions of rail-mounted anchors extending above the tie. The spreader members can be moved apart to shift the rail-mounted anchors along the rail away from the tie to achieve the anchor spreading. Positive clamp structure securely holds the head assembly in position longitudinally of the rail whereby the head assembly can remain in fixed position regardless of the reaction to forces exerted in spreading one or more rail mounted anchors.
