A device for connecting a gearmotor to an aircraft wheel, the device comprising: a casing rotatably carrying a shaft that is to be driven by the gearmotor, and on which a pinion is mounted idle by means of a rolling bearing; a toothed ring for being constrained in rotation with the aircraft wheel and arranged to mesh permanently with the idle pinion; and rotation securing structure for selectively constraining the idle pinion in rotation with the shaft. A bushing is interposed between the shaft and the rolling bearing of the idle pinion.

The invention provides an aircraft wheel-and-brake set, the wheel including a rim mounted to rotate on an axle of the aircraft about an axis of rotation, and the brake including a stack of disks extending into the rim in service, and a support carrying brake actuators facing the stack of disks in order to selectively press said disks together, wherein the support carries at least one rotary drive member for driving the wheel in rotation, which drive member is carried in such a manner that it extends outside said wheel.

A telescopic actuator comprising a cylinder in which a main rod is mounted to slide telescopically along a sliding axis (X) between a retracted position and an extended position. The actuator includes an auxiliary rod mounted to slide in the main rod along the sliding axis between retracted and extended positions. A structure is provided for retaining the auxiliary rod in the retracted position inside the main rod. There also is a brake structure for braking sliding of the auxiliary rod in the main rod in the extension direction. The auxiliary rod has a thread on an outside surface, and the main rod has a rotary bearing that centers the auxiliary rod inside the main rod and co-operates via a reversible helical connection with the thread of the auxiliary rod such that extension of the auxiliary rod causes the rotary bearing to rotate.

The invention relates to an aircraft undercarriage including a steerable bottom portion and a steering member suitable for turning the steerable bottom portion in response to a steering order. According to the invention, the steering member comprises a plurality of electromechanical steering actuators each having at least one main electric motor, and the actuators are disposed on the undercarriage so as to enable all of them to co-operate simultaneously with the steerable bottom portion in order to steer it, each of the electro-mechanical steering actuators including controllable coupling means for selectively placing the actuator either in a coupled state in which it is coupled with the steerable bottom portion , in which the main electric motor of the actuator is suitable for causing the steerable bottom portion to turn; or else in an uncoupled state in which it is uncoupled from the steerable bottom portion and in which the main electric motor of the actuator is isolated from the steerable bottom portion.

The invention relates to a hydraulic steering system architecture comprising at least one steering control actuator having chambers connected to the outlets of a directional-control valve, an accumulator, and an electrically-driven pump unit associated with an emergency supply. The hydraulic system also comprises a general selector arranged, in a normal mode of operation, to connect the feed port of the directional-control valve to a pressure-generator device and the return port of the directional-control valve to a main supply associated with the pressure-generator device, while also ensuring that the emergency supply is filled, and in an alternate mode of operation, to connect the feed port of the directional-control valve to the accumulator.

Hydraulic system architecture for controlling steering

The invention relates to an architecture for a hydraulic steering control system including at least one actuator; the hydraulic system comprises a directional-control valve connected to a pressure-generator device and to an associated main supply, the hydraulic system further comprising a reversible electrically-driven pump unit having two ports and being fitted with a general selector arranged, in a normal mode of operation, to put the chambers of the actuator into communication with the directional-control valve, and in an alternate mode of operation to put the chambers of the actuator into communication with the ports of the pump unit. A compensation device makes it possible in the alternate mode to compensate for any flow differential between the flow drawn in by the pump unit from one of the chambers of the actuator and the flow delivered by the pump unit into the other chamber of the actuator.
