Various aspects relate to using structured messages within systems that implement instant messaging function in a distributed computing environment. In particular, structured information may be encoded and embedded in unstructured instant messages and communicated among one or more computer systems, networks, applications or other entities. In one aspect, instant messaging may be leveraged as middleware for application integration. Other aspects relate to using structured message information to perform functions in a distributed instant messaging system. For example, structured message information may be used to control the display of instant message information to a user, or may be used to control how the instant message information is distributed, processed, or otherwise handled by a receiving system, application or process. Other aspects relate to an interface for displaying information relating to a number of instant messaging conversations to a user. Further, aspects relate to using instant messaging in a trading environment.

System and method for processing instant messages

Various aspects relate to using structured messages within one or more systems that implement instant messaging function in a distributed computing environment. An equipment enclosure for housing electronic components includes a front assembly having a front frame, the front assembly defining a front of the enclosure, and a rear assembly having a rear frame. The enclosure further includes at least two side brace members, each side brace member having a first end and a second, opposite end. A first connector is configured to releasably connect the first end of one of the side brace members to the front frame. A second connector is configured to releasably connect the second end of the one of the side brace members to the rear frame. Other embodiments and methods are further disclosed.

Equipment enclosure kit and assembly method

A multi-port cabling system for use in installing cable to an equipment rack or enclosure or within an equipment room or data center includes a cabling assembly comprising at least one connector head having a plurality of ports and at least one cable operatively connected to the plurality of ports. The at least one cable terminates internally within the connector head to operatively couple the cable to the plurality of ports. The system further includes a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket and the connector head are each configured for tool-less attachment of one or more cabling assemblies to the bracket. The mounting bracket is further configured to removably mount to an equipment rack or enclosure, and/or to a wall, to thereby install one or more cables. The cabling assembly and the cabling system help to eliminate on-site cable termination and testing during installation of cables to rack-mounted equipment.

A telecommunications connector system for connecting to a mating telecommunications jack includes a housing that is configured to provide a contact chamber, a carrier configured to receive a plurality of insulated conductive lines, and electrically-conductive contacts at least partially disposed in the carrier, each contact including first, second, and third portions, each of the first portions being movably connected to the second portion and configured to move relative to the second portions in response to applied forces and to return to resting positions in response to removal of the applied forces, each of the third portions being movably connected to a corresponding second portion and including a blade configured to pierce an insulator coating of a corresponding insulated conductive line received by the carrier, where the carrier is at least partially disposed inside the housing such that the contacts are at least partially disposed in the contact chamber.
