An array of electroacoustic actuators includes at least five electroacoustic actuators, wherein the electroacoustic actuators are connected such that, in a first parallel branch, at least two electroacoustic actuators are connected in series and, in a second parallel branch, an electroacoustic actuator is connected in series to a parallel connection of two electroacoustic actuators, the first parallel branch being connected in parallel to the second parallel branch, and the parallel branches connected in parallel being configured to be driven by an actuator amplifier, or wherein the electroacoustic actuators are connected such that, in a first serial branch, at least two electroacoustic actuators are connected in parallel and, in a second serial branch, an electroacoustic actuator is connected in parallel to a serial connection of two electroacoustic actuators, the first serial branch being connected in series to the second serial branch, and the parallel branches connected in series being configured to be driven by an actuator amplifier.

Array of electroacoustic actuators and method for producing an array

A loudspeaker array includes an encapsulated baffle and a multitude of sound transducers. The encapsulated baffle includes a multitude of recesses arranged next to each other on a first main surface. The sound transducers of the multitude of sound transducers are arranged in the associated recesses such that an encapsulated rear volume is formed by each recess for the respective sound transducer.

Loudspeaker array

An electroacoustic driver includes a diaphragm, a diaphragm drive system and a diaphragm suspension. The diaphragm system is configured to subject the diaphragm to a motion, wherein the diaphragm suspension is configured to guide the diaphragm. The diaphragm drive system includes an active element configured to actively influence the motion of the diaphragm.

Electroacoustic driver

A loudspeaker system for a vehicle includes a loudspeaker array including a plurality of electroacoustic sound transducers that can be controlled individually, such that a user-specific audio signal can be reproduced for different users at different listening positions in a vehicle interior of the vehicle via the plurality of electroacoustic sound transducers. Here, the loudspeaker array or a sound outlet of the loudspeaker array is arranged in particular between at least two of the listening positions in the vehicle interior, i.e. for example between the driver and the passenger seat.

Loudspeaker system

A loudspeaker includes a sound transducer, a housing and a unit configured to influence the temperature, such as a pressure compensation element. The sound transducer includes a membrane, the membrane enclosing a gas volume along with the housing. The sound transducer is configured to cause the membrane to vibrate, so that the gas volume is changed in accordance with the vibration. The unit configured to influence the temperature is configured to counteract a change of state, which is due to the membrane vibration, by means of a change in temperature of the gas volume.

Loudspeaker with pressure compensation element

An apparatus for processing an audio signal to focus an acoustic signal by an arrangement of a plurality of loudspeakers comprises a frequency analyzer, a signal processor and a signal output interface. The acoustic signal is based on the audio signal. The frequency analyzer is configured to determine a fundamental frequency in a frequency spectrum of the audio signal depending on a geometry parameter of the arrangement of the plurality of loudspeakers. The signal processor is configured to adapt an overtone of the fundamental frequency to obtain the processed audio signal and the signal output interface is configured to output the processed audio signal to the plurality of loudspeakers.

Apparatus using missing fundamental frequencies to improve loudspeaker sound focusing

A loudspeaker includes a two-dimensional array of non-housed individual speakers having flat shapes. The non-housed individual speakers are accommodated within a flat housing, the depth of the housing being smaller than 5 cm, for example. Non-housed individual speakers used are advantageously headphone capsules and/or miniature loudspeakers having diaphragm diameters of less than 5 cm.

A flat panel loudspeaker with such an emission characteristic is obtained which, in the event of the flat panel loudspeaker being set up inversely, provides an improved listening result in that a loudspeaker is provided within the housing, and a sound conduction is configured such that sound from the loudspeaker is conducted outward via an acoustic aperture within the housing for undirected emission.

A loudspeaker diaphragm includes a tapering edge region. Thus, it is possible to prevent or considerably reduce wave reflection and uncontrolled wave propagation caused thereby in a cheap and effective manner.

Loudspeaker diaphragm and method for manufacturing a loudspeaker diaphragm

An inventive loudspeaker includes a diaphragm, a first excitation means for generating structure-borne sound in the diaphragm, and a second excitation means, different from the first one, for setting the diaphragm into a longitudinal vibrational motion in a direction perpendicular to the extension of the diaphragm. In accordance with the invention, the problem of insufficient bass reproduction and/or of the magnitude conflicting with invisible integration or installation is solved in that a second exciter system is introduced, which uniformly moves the diaphragm, or the plate serving as the diaphragm, forward and backward in addition to the bending waves of the structure-borne sound. The sound reproduction therefore is possible across the entire audio-frequency range without impeding the goal of invisible integration or installation.
