The invention concerns a device wherein the diffusion chamber () comprises, between its upstream end and its downstream end, in the direction of the fluid flow, at least an insert () formed by an annular ring having an external diameter identical to the internal diameter of the chamber, said annular ring being arranged perpendicular to the axis of the supply conduit and projecting towards the inside part of the chamber from the side wall(s) thereof, to form a lateral obstacle to the fluid flow, the solid surface of the insert () being sufficient to generate in the upstream part of the chamber a pressure higher than that of the downstream part.

Device for homogeneous distribution of a fluid in a chamber and uses thereof

A method wherein the particles are homogeneously distributed like rain to constitute a horizontal bed of particles on the entire section of the chamber ( ). The invention is characterised in that it consists in temporarily modifying at least once the loading conditions, so that the profile of the surface ( ) of the bed of particles forms, at least at the periphery thereof, an angle &agr; with the horizontal ranging between 6&deg; and 25&deg;, preferably, between 10&deg; and 20&deg;, and in subsequently restoring the loading conditions to obtain a horizontal bed.

Method for loading a chamber with solid particles

The invention concerns a stripping method for extracting solid fluidized particles whereby the particles to be stripped are subjected to a first stripping in a first chamber ( ), then at least a second stripping in a second chamber ( ) wherein are provided solid/gas separating means allowing the gaseous fluids derived from the second stripping to directly pass through from the bottom to the top but preventing them from going up again into the first chamber ( ). The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.

The upstream portion of a reactor ( ), contains, between the feeding area of the catalyst flow and the injection area of the charge to be cracked, at least one solid and attached packing element ( ), that extends over all or part of the cross section of the reactor and consists of a network of cells through which pass the catalyst particles. This network makes it possible to create at least one step of division and recombination of the flow of catalyst particles, so as to redistribute the latter in a homogenous manner over the cross section of the reactor.
