A modular electronic warfare (EW) framework that is implemented into a first preexisting EW system with associated hardware and firmware to leverage the capabilities of the first preexisting EW system into a second, different preexisting EW system with associated hardware and firmware. The modular EW framework includes a tracking framework and a logic framework. The tracking framework is configured to receive a first set of objects from a preexisting EW system and augments the first set of objects with at least one parameter and outputs the second set of objects. The logic framework is configured to receive the set of second objects from the tracking framework and implements at least one process onto the second set of objects and outputs a third set of objects. A multi-core processor is used to operate the modular EW framework. The multi-core processor is configured to execute the at least one parameter to output the second set of objects and configured to execute the at least one process to output the third set of objects The first set of objects in the fixed EW system remains unaffected within the fixed EW system. The first set of objects is different than the second and third sets of objects. The modular EW framework is also platform-agnostic and can be implemented with a broad suite of computer processing units and operating systems. Each of the tracking framework and the logic framework of the modular EW framework are asynchronous.

Modular electronic warfare framework for multi-core execution

A cognitive scheduler and asset allocation system to optimize electronic warfare (EW) resource allocation in reaction to RF signals observed in real-time without the need for prior collected data and without a predetermined scan schedule. The EW system of the present disclosure may further provide optimum resource allocation to minimize response time and to more effectively react to agile threat systems in an area of operations.

A method for automatically correlating radio wave pulses includes deterring a first normalized phase shift that corresponds to a first radio wave pulse. The method further includes determining a second normalized phase shift that corresponds to a second radio wave pulse. The method further includes determining the first normalized first normalized phase shift is equal to the second normalized phase shift. The method further includes in response to determining the first normalized phase shift is equal to the second normalized phase shift, correlating the first radio wave pulse and the second radio wave pulse as originating from a same radio wave transmitter. The method further includes transmitting a signal indicative of the first radio wave pulse and the second radio wave pulse as originating from the same radio wave transmitter through a circuit.

Angle of arrival correlation using normalized phase

Wireless communication methods and systems using multiple sectored cells. In one example, each cell of a cellular coverage area is divided into a number of sectors. A number of different half duplex or full duplex channels are used in each cell to communicate between a base station and a number of subscriber stations located in the cell. At least some of the channels may be reused in other cells of the coverage area. Additionally, some channels may be reused both amongst sectors of a given cell and in other cells of the coverage area. The sectored cells are arranged with respect to one other such that interference amongst similarly oriented sectors of different cells using one or more same channels is reduced. In another example, two adjacent cells are arranged with respect to each other such that sectors of the two cells that are similarly oriented approximately along a bore axis of the two cells, and in which radiation is transmitted in the two cells in essentially a same direction approximately along the bore axis, use different channels.
