A cylinder lock and key system. The plugs comprise a housing having a cylindrical bore; and a cylindrical plug which is rotatable and which exhibits a front end and a keyway. The keys comprise a key bow; and a key blade is rotatable about the rotational axis when inserted. The plugs and keys are provided with cooperating stop surfaces for defining the fully inserted position of the keys. At least one first stop surface is in contact with a corresponding second stop surface when a key is inserted in the keyway of a lock. At least two first stop surfaces of each key are arranged adjacent each other and at least two second stop surfaces of each lock are arranged adjacent each other, at or in proximity to the keyway. A cylinder lock and key combination, a key, a key blank and a cylinder lock are also disclosed.

Cylinder lock and key system

A lock device is provided that includes a housing () having an opening () and a core () which is rotatably mounted in the opening () about a longitudinal axis of the core and which includes a key way () for reception of a key. Also included is a latching dement () that co-acts between the housing () and the core (). An electronically controllable actuator () is mounted in the core () and is movable using a motor () between an opening-registering position in which movement of the latching element () to the release position is permitted, and a latching position in which movement of the latching element () to the release position is blocked. The motor () is provided in a recess (a) in the barrel surface (b) of the core at a distance from the end surfaces of the core.

Electromechanical lock device

A lock device comprises a housing () which includes an opening () and a core () which is rotatably disposed in the opening. A latching element () co-acts between the housing and the core and can be moved between a release position in which the core is rotatable relative to the housing, and a latching position in which rotation of the core relative to the housing is blocked. An electronically controllable actuator () is disposed in the core and is moveable between an opening-registering-position in which the latching element is movable to the release position, and a latching position in which movement of the latching element to said release position is blocked. A returning means () co-acts mechanically with a key in a key way in the core and with the actuator and such as to move the actuator away from the position of the opening to a further latching position in response to the key being drawn out of the keyway. Movement of the latching element to said release position is blocked by the actuator in this further latching position. Because the returning means is rotatable there is obtained a small latching mechanism that is returned mechanically to a latching position upon removal of the key.

A lock device comprises an interlocking means comprising two axially movable parts () interconnecting a cylinder core () and an extension () so that free-turning operation is provided in one mode of operation and the extension rotates with the cylinder core in another operational mode.

Lock device

A latch is disclosed that can releasably secure a door or panel in a closed position. The latch includes a rotary pawl, a pawl catch, an actuating member, a pivotally movable handle, and a gear train for moving the pawl to provide compression in response to the movement of the handle to the closed position.

Latch

A lock device comprises a housing () which includes an opening () and a core () which is rotatably disposed in the opening and which includes a key way () for reception of a key. A latching element () co-acts between the housing () and the core () and is movable between a release position in which the core is rotatable relative to the housing, and a latching position in which rotation of the core relative to the housing is blocked. An electronically controllable actuator () is disposed in the core and is rotatable between an opening-registering-position in which the latching element is movable to the release position, and a latching position in which movement of the latching element to said release position is blocked. A spring () abuts an abutment portion () of the actuator. Since the spring is provided with two mutually parallel leg portions (), which abut radially opposite surfaces of the abutment portion of the actuator, several advantages are obtained. Firstly, the damping spring is easily assembled without any fixation in the core. Furthermore, the balancing ensures that a predetermined force is exerted on the neck portion, which increases the accuracy and thereby the performance.

A key safekeeping device for fitting into a hole in a door, wall or corresponding structure includes a first tubular element ( ) that carries a first collar ( ) on an outer end thereof. A lock cylinder ( ) is detachably fitted to the first tubular element. A second tubular element ( ) that carries a second collar ( ) is intended for lockable engagement with the first tubular element. At least one of the collars is comprised of a separate ring-shaped part ( ) that includes an internal aperture for receiving a blocking means ( ) in the form of a bent/curved element that is intended to be fitted into a peripheral groove ( ) in the barrel surface of the second tubular element. The blocking element, which lies hidden in the aperture of the ring-shaped part, cannot therefore be removed when the key safekeeping device is fitted and the lock cylinder is mounted in place. Because the collars can be produced as separate parts, the key safekeeping device can be manufactured from tubing of any appropriate material thickness, therewith minimizing the cutting work required in manufacture. This provides gains with respect to tool costs, material consumption, working time and therewith also in respect of the environment.

Key safekeeping device

A removable core lock and key device comprises a cylinder housing ( ), a cylinder core ( ) accommodated in said cylinder housing, and an essentially cylindrical plug ( ) rotatably arranged in the core. A blocking pin ( ) is provided in the core and is movable between an extended position, wherein it engages a recess in the cylinder housing, and a retracted position. An actuator element ( ) is controlled by at least one control pin tumbler. With a control key in the lock, the control pin tumbler displaces the actuator element so that it moves the blocking pin with the rotation of said plug. With a user key in said key slot, said pin tumbler is disengaged from the actuator element and the plug is free to rotate. In other positions the control pin tumbler blocks rotation of the plug and actuator element. A simple yet reliable and secure removable core arrangement is provided.

Lock device with removable core

A cylinder lock (,) comprises a cylinder housing (,), a plug (,) having a key slot (,), and a driver (,). The cylinder housing (,) has a row of pin channels in a &ldquo;twelve o'clock&rdquo; position and a row of pin channels in a &ldquo;ten o'clock&rdquo; position, to enable the lock to be operated with a service key that can be inserted in the &ldquo;ten o'clock&rdquo; position. A cylindrical latching element (,) surrounds the inner end of the plug and moves in accompaniment with rotation of the plug as the plug is turned with a standard key (,). The latching element (,) is held fixed when the plug is rotated by means of a service key (,). The latching element is designed to co-act with means on the driver that enable the plug (,) to move axially upon transition of the &ldquo;twelve o'clock&rdquo; position, wen the plug is rotated by means of the service key. The latching element is held fixed in relation to the housing (,) by means of an intermediate pin (,).
