A system and method for monitoring a cabin of machine is provided. The system includes an operator presence sensor, a cabin pressure sensor, a door sensor, and a carbon dioxide sensor configured to generate the first output signal, the second output signal, the third output signal and the fourth output signal respectively. The system includes a controller configured to selectively process at least one of the first output signal, the second output signal, the third output signal or the fourth output signal. The controller is further configured to control one or more conditions inside the cabin based on the selective processing of the at least one of the first output signal, the second output signal, the third output signal or the fourth output signal.

System and method for monitoring a cabin of a machine

A controller for a heat, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit may comprise a compressor control signal output; a condenser fan control signal output; a pressure sensor input that receives information regarding an output pressure of the compressor; a temperature input that receives information regarding ambient temperature; a processor coupled to the compressor control signal output, the condenser fan control signal output, the first pressure sensor input, and the temperature input; and a computer-readable memory that stores instructions. The processor may cause the controller to: turn on the compressor via the compressor control signal output based on a request for air conditioning, select a condenser fan speed, from condenser fan control data stored in the computer readable memory, based on the ambient temperature and an output pressure of the compressor, and set a speed of the condenser fan to the selected condenser fan speed via the condenser fan control signal.

Controlling HVAC speed of condenser fans using pressure sensors

A flow measurement unit for measuring a rate of airflow for a ventilation system. The flow measurement unit includes a flow measurement device installed in a housing. A first and a second pressure gauge are provided anteriorly and posteriorly, respectively, to the flow measurement device. The first and the second pressure gauge are configured to provide a first pressure reading, corresponding to the first pressure, and a second pressure reading, corresponding to the second pressure of airflow. Further, the flow measurement unit includes a fan to adjust airflow, such that the second pressure approaches the first pressure of airflow.
