A cable inspection apparatus includes an image capturing device and a determination device. The image capturing device includes a ring camera frame and a plurality of cameras mounted on the ring camera frame and distributed at intervals on a circumference of the ring camera frame. The cameras simultaneously capture images of a cable to be inspected extending through the ring camera frame from a plurality of different angles. The determination device determines whether or not a portion of the cable is qualified according to the images.

Cable inspection apparatus

A cable bending system comprises at least one bending module. The bending module includes an active actuator having a first body, and an active rod mounted in the first body. The active rod is movable in a first direction perpendicular to an axial direction of a cable to be bent. A passive actuator of the bending module includes a second body connected to the first body and defines a shaping cavity open to the active rod. The active rod pushes a portion of the cable into the shaping cavity of the second body in the first direction for bending the portion of the cable.

Cable bending system

The subject technology relates to recovering an object in a storage system. For instance, an object in a storage system is recovered by parsing object metadata associated with the object from a log in the storage system and storing the parsed object metadata in a storage space. In response to receiving a request to recover the object, the parsed object metadata from the storage space is retrieved. A linkage can be reestablished to a chunk corresponding to the object based on the retrieved object metadata. In this way, space reclamation is not impacted during recovery for the object, thereby increasing the space utilization. Furthermore, the time spent in the recovery process is reduced, and the success rate of object recovery is increased.

A system for a mobile robot to autonomously take an elevator includes an elevator button pressing module mounted on an elevator floor control panel of the elevator. The elevator button pressing module communicates with the mobile robot wirelessly and is adapted to press a pair of elevator buttons on the elevator floor control panel according to an instruction issued by the mobile robot to call an elevator car.

A part inspection system is provided and includes a vision device configured to image a part is inspected and generate a digital image of the part. The part inspection system includes a part inspection module coupled to the vision device and receiving the digital image of the part. The part inspection module includes a memory for storing a neural network architecture having a plurality of convolutional layers, a plurality of pooling layers disposed after different convolutional layers and spaced apart from each other, at least one random noise generation layer downstream of the convolutional layers and the pooling layers, and an output layer. The part inspection module includes a processor configured to analyze the digital image through the layers of the neural network architecture to output one of a defective output or a non-defective output based on the image analysis of the digital image through the neural network architecture.

Neural network architecture for automated part inspection

A vacuum adsorption module includes a supporting block, a carrier installed and positioned on the supporting block, and a plurality of valves installed on the supporting block. The supporting block has a plurality of air connection holes, each row of air connection holes is connected to a total air path formed in the supporting block via a branch air path formed in the supporting block. The carrier has a plurality of air suction holes corresponding to the air connection holes. The valves control closing and opening of the branch air paths between the plurality of rows of air connection holes and the total air path. An adsorption length of the carrier in a column direction of the array is adjustable to match a length of an article to be adsorbed by the carrier by changing a number of the valves to be closed or opened.

Vacuum adsorption module

A vision inspection system includes a sorting platform having an upper surface supporting parts for inspection. An inspection station is positioned adjacent the sorting platform including an imaging device to image the parts in a field of view. A vision inspection controller receives images from the imaging device. The vision inspection controller includes an image histogram tool to pre-process the images to improve contrast of the images by redistributing lightness values of the images based on adaptive histogram equalization processing to generate enhanced images. The vision inspection controller processes the enhanced images based on an image analysis model to determine inspection results for each of the parts. The vision inspection controller has an artificial intelligence learning module operated to customize and configure the image analysis model based on the enhanced images.

An article support device has a pair of support platforms arranged symmetrically and opposite to each other. Each of the support platforms includes a support frame, a support plate disposed on a top of the support frame and having a horizontal support top surface, and at least one positioning block installed on the horizontal support top surface. The horizontal support top surfaces of the support plates are located at a same height position. The article is supported on the horizontal support top surfaces and positioned between the positioning blocks on the support plates. An accommodation space is defined between the support plates and the support frames, and an automated guided vehicle moves into the accommodation space. An article carried on the article support device is loadable onto the automatic guided vehicle or the article carried on the automatic guided vehicle is unloadable onto the article support device.

A cable bundle taping device adapted to wind a tape on a coiled cable bundle includes a support frame, a conveying device mounted on the support frame and adapted to convey the tape to a standby position, a first driving wheel rotatably mounted on the support frame and having a slot extending radially inward from an outer edge of the first driving wheel, and a tape binding mechanism arranged on a side of at least one sidewall of the first driving wheel near a bottom of the slot and opposite to the tape in the standby position. The coiled cable bundle is bonded to an end of the tape at the standby position and pushed to the bottom of the slot. The tape is wound on the coiled cable bundle by rotating the tape binding mechanism under driving of the first driving wheel.

An assembly system includes a robot, a first gripper mounted on the robot, the first gripper gripping a first housing, and a first clamping device clamping a cable and a contact connected to an end of the cable. A stamping strip reel replacing system includes an autonomous mobile robot and an automatic guide vehicle. The autonomous mobile robot is adapted to autonomously move to a position where a reel driving shaft for mounting the reel is located, and includes a grabbing tool for grabbing the reel. The automatic guide vehicle moves together with the autonomous mobile robot, and carries an empty reel wound with no stamping strip. The autonomous mobile robot is further adapted to unload a full reel wound with the stamping strip from the reel driving shaft and place the unloaded full reel onto the automatic guide vehicle by operating the grabbing tool. The autonomous mobile robot is further adapted to grab the empty reel from the automatic guide vehicle and mount the grabbed empty reel onto the reel driving shaft by operating the grabbing tool.

A cable straightening device includes a plurality of cable straightening units connected in series. Each of the cable straightening units includes a base, a pair of rows of rollers mounted on the base and cooperating with each other to define a pressing path extending in a row direction, and a mounting frame disposed on at least one end of a pair of opposite ends of the base in the row direction. A cable is pressed by the rows of rollers while passing through the pressing path. Any two adjacent cable straightening units are assembled together at the mounting frame of each so that center lines of the pressing paths of two adjacent cable straightening units are aligned with each other.

The welding module includes a guiding device and a welding tool. The guiding device has a plurality of tubular guiding heads arranged in a row, ends of the plurality of tubular guiding heads are disposed close to joints of a plurality of cables so as to guide a plurality of welding wires to the joints of the plurality of cables. The welding tool has a plurality of tooth-shaped welding heads arranged in a row, ends of the plurality of tooth-shaped welding heads are disposed close to the joints of the plurality of cables and configured to simultaneously heat the plurality of welding wires guided to the joints of the plurality of cables, so as to simultaneously weld the joints of the plurality of cables onto a circuit board.
