A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processing system that analyses, without user intervention, content of a first message directed from equipment of a sending user to equipment of a receiving user, to identify a task. The processing system determines that the receiving user is unable to perform the task according to biometric data of the receiving user. The biometric data is selected from one of heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and combinations thereof. According to the content of the first message and the biometric data obtained from the receiving user, the processing system determines that the task should be delegated to another user, and responsive thereto, provides a second message associated with the task to equipment of the other user. Method and apparatus for managing communication inquiries

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processing system that analyses, without user intervention, content of a first message directed from equipment of a sending user to equipment of a receiving user, to identify a task. A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processor that can maintain a first virtual task list associated with one of a sending user or a receiving user. A first message originating at equipment of the sending user is received and content of the first message is analyzed to determine a task. Behavior information is obtained associated with one of the sending user, the receiving user or both, and first virtual task list is adjusted to obtain a modified virtual task list according to the content of the first message and the behavior information. A method for digital rights management includes a digital agent for contacting a media host. Media content is compared to a user profile and an identification confidence level is assigned to the media based on the comparison. A digital agent contacts a host of the media based on the identification confidence level, the type of media, and the context of the media. The digital agent requests one or more actions of a media host based on user designations concerning information related to the media. The identification confidence level is generated based on a plurality of user characteristic confidence levels which are generated based on media being analyzed.

A system that incorporates teachings of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting, by a first device including a least one processor and a first Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC), a second device having a second UICC, detecting, by the first device, that the second UICC is unprovisioned, selecting, by the first device, one of a plurality of selectable options, where the selection identifies a first Mobile Network Operator (MNO) selected from a plurality of MNOs, receiving, by the first device, first credential information of the first MNO, and transmitting, by the first device, to the second device the first credential information for enabling the second device to facilitate establishment of communication services with network equipment of the first MNO according to the first credential information. A system that incorporates teachings of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for detecting, by a first device including a least one processor and a first Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC), a second device having a second UICC, detecting, by the first device, that the second UICC is unprovisioned, selecting, by the first device, one of a plurality of selectable options, where the selection identifies a first network operator selected from a plurality of network operators, receiving, by the first device, first credential information of the first network operator, and transmitting, by the first device, to the second device the first credential information for enabling the second device to facilitate establishment of communication services with network equipment of the first network operator according to the first credential information. Apparatus and methods for selecting services of mobile network operators

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processor that can determine a standard inquiry message from an inquiry command captured at a first communication device of a first user. The standard inquiry message can have an importance rating based on an urgency of the inquiry command and based on behavior information associated with the first user. The processor can deliver the standard inquiry message and the importance rating to a communications management agent of a second communication device, where an inquiry indicator accompanies the delivery of the standard inquiry message at the second communication device. A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a message and an importance rating for the message where the importance rating is determined by a second communications management agent of a server based on an analysis of content of the message. The system can access rating feedback information associated with the second communications management agent. A rating accuracy for the importance rating of the particular message can be determined based on the rating feedback information, and the method of providing the message to the intended recipient can be adjusted based on the determined accuracy.
