Aspects of the present disclosure may reduce number of radar transmissions between a group of wireless devices while still enabling wireless devices with accurate radar measurements on a target object. In one aspect, a first wireless device receives a first radar-detection information from a second wireless device. The first wireless device transmits one or more radar pulses based at least in part on a radar transmission order being based on the first radar-detection information. In another aspect, a UE receives radar-detection information from multiple wireless devices. The UE transmits a radar transmission order to the multiple wireless devices based on the radar-detection information.

Coordinating radar transmissions between user equipments

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) (e.g., a vehicle) may determine a configuration, including an offset value for the radar waveform, for transmitting a radar waveform for multiple radar transmitters. The UE may transmit, according to the identified configuration, a first instance of the radar waveform with a first radar transmitter. The UE may also transmit a second instance of the radar waveform with a second radar transmitter. The second instance of the radar waveform may be offset from the first instance of the radar waveform by the offset value. The Offset value may be a time offset, a frequency offset, or both. The UE may identify at least one object, and may filter our interference between the first instance of the radar waveform and the second instance of the radar waveform based on the offset.

Radar interference mitigation

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive system information associated with a set of neighboring cells included in a non-terrestrial network (NTN). The UE may be connected to or camped in a current cell included in the NTN. The current cell may be associated with a current platform. The UE may monitor a neighboring cell, of the set of neighboring cells, based at least in part on the system information. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for radar devices are provided. A radar device may detect an interfering radar signal from a second radar device that interferes with measurement of a return of a radar signal from the first radar device. The radar device may perform a timing adjustment action in response to detecting the interfering radar signal from the second radar device.

Interference relocation in radar applications to mitigate inter-radar interference

This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for adapting a radar transmission based on a congestion level. A wireless device, such as a radar device, a UE, a base station, a vehicle, etc., may detect a congestion level of a wireless communication environment that includes the wireless device. The wireless device may have at least one of a first FOV or a first range within the wireless communication environment. The wireless device may transmit, based on the congestion level exceeding a threshold, a radar signal that corresponds to the wireless device having at least one of a second FOV or a second range in the wireless communication environment that is smaller than the at least one of the first FOV or the first range.

Adapting a radar transmission based on a congestion level

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station and a user terminal may communicate via a relaying satellite in a non-terrestrial network. The non-terrestrial network may cause communication disruptions in hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes due to communication delays. Base stations and user terminals communicating via a satellite may implement dynamically configurable HARQ processes to avoid latency in a wireless communications system.

Dynamically configurable acknowledgement procedures

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information identifying locations of respective random access channel (RACH) resources for a plurality of beams associated with a non-terrestrial network, wherein the plurality of beams are associated with respective frequency regions. Random access channel frequency multiplexing for a non-terrestrial network

In a communication between a user equipment (UE) and a network node, the UE may receive a grant of uplink (UL) shared channel (SCH) resources from the network node. Each of the UL SCH resources may be associated with one of a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. Each HARQ process may be at least one of a plurality of HARQ process types, and each HARQ process type may be based on HARQ feedback status and HARQ retransmission status. The UE may transmit a control message on one or more UL SCH resources in response to the one or more UL SCH resources being determined to be usable based on the HARQ process type of the HARQ processes associated with the one or more of the UL SCH resources.

Hybrid automatic repeat request feedback in network

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication via a non-terrestrial network (NTN). In one aspect, a method for wireless communication includes initiating, by a user equipment (UE), a registration process with a network entity of an NTN to access the NTN. The method also includes transmitting, by the UE to the network entity, UE capability information of the UE. The method further includes receiving, by the UE from the network entity, a handover command, the handover command comprising a handover time indicator associated with a target handover time for the UE to perform a handover operation from a first beam to a second beam. Handover mechanism for non-terrestrial network (NTN) system in 5G new radio (NR)

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), such as a vehicle that is enabled with radar detection and ranging, may include multiple radars or radar components and may receive, at a first radar, a first radar waveform in a field of view (FOV) associated with the first radar. The UE may determine a trajectory of the target object which may indicate the target object entering a FOV of a second radar. The UE may receive, at the second radar, a second radar waveform in the FOV of the second radar and may associate the second radar waveform with the target object based on the trajectory of the target object and the second radar waveform being in the FOV of the second radar.

Intra-vehicle radar handover

Systems and methods for predictive coordination of ego radar and interferer radar parameters are disclosed. In some aspects, a processor associated with a first radar system transmitting a first radar waveform to detect a target may identify a presence of a second radar system transmitting a second radar waveform in a vicinity of the first radar system. The processor may further predict an upcoming interference by the second radar waveform of the detection of the target by the first radar system. In addition, the processor may, in response to the predicting the upcoming interference, determine an adjustment to a first parameter of the first radar waveform and/or to a second parameter of the second radar waveform.

Methods and system for predictive coordination of ego and interferer radar parameters

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for supporting multiple types of random access occasions. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), an indication of at least two types of random access occasions (ROs) including a first RO type and a second RO type for communicating in a first coverage area of the BS as part of a random access process for the UE to establish a connection with the BS in the first coverage area. The method further includes transmitting, to the BS, a preamble on an RO of one of the first RO type or the second RO type, wherein a preamble format of the preamble is based on whether the RO is of the first RO type or the second RO type.

Wireless communication using multiple types of random access occasions

Disclosed are techniques for positioning. A receiver measures a time of arrival (ToA) of a positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission of a first PRS sequence transmitted by a first transmitter, measures a ToA of a PRS transmission of a second PRS sequence transmitted by a second transmitter, and determines an observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) as a difference between the ToA of the PRS transmission of the first PRS sequence and the ToA of the PRS transmission of the second PRS sequence, wherein the OTDOA is less than half a maximum differential delay expected between the PRS transmission of the first PRS sequence and the PRS transmission of the second PRS sequence, and wherein a repetition duration of the first PRS sequence and the second PRS sequence is greater than 10 milliseconds (ms) and at least twice the maximum differential delay.

Positioning reference signal repetition duration for non-terrestrial networks

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a reflection of a first radar waveform transmitted by the first UE. Target detection using multiple radar waveforms

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration to perform cooperative radar sensing. The configuration may indicate resources for the first UE to use to communicate radar measurement reports. The UE may receive, from another UE on the identified resources, a radar measurement report that includes values for one or more radar measurement parameters for a first radar target and a time stamp associated with the values. The UE may identify a second set of values for the radar measurement parameters (e.g., its own measurements, or measurements received from a third UE in another radar measurement reports). The UE may generate a combined set of values for the radar measurement parameters for each time stamp by combining the first set of values and the second set of values.
