A multifunction tool includes a pair of handles, each handle having two side walls and a plate connecting the two side walls. A pair of jaws is coupled to the handles, each jaw having at least one pin extending therefrom. A slot is disposed in at least one side wall, the slot configured to receive the pin, whereby the jaws are slidably coupled to the handles such that the jaws have a retracted position and an extended position. At least one ancillary tool is coupled to one of the handles.

Multifunction tool with replaceable implements

A multifunction or combination tool having a set of retractable replaceable pliers contained within U-shaped handles when not in use and extend from the handles when is use. Ancillary blade-like devices are pivotally attached to the ends of the handles opposite to the pliers and stored within their respective handles when not in use. The ancillary tools may be chosen to meet specific needs of a user. The blades are held in place by individual springs which allow one ancillary tool at a time to be chosen and used whenever the pliers head associated with the opposite end of the handle is extended. The replaceable pliers may be changed by the end-user to meet particular needs and the pliers may take the form of square jaws, needle noise jaws, tin snips, and the like.

A fishing tackle box is secured to the underside of a bass boat pedestal seat by mounting structure that permits the box to be pivoted relative to the seat between a latched stowage position in which the box is positioned entirely beneath and closely adjacent the underside of the seat, and a use position in which the box is positioned outwardly adjacent the side edge periphery of the seat for ready access by a fisherman sitting in the seat. The mounting structure includes a pivotal mounting member intersecured between the seat and box, and a latch member pivotable between a latching position in which its engages the box and holes it in its stowage position, and a release position permitting the pivotally mounted box to be swung outwardly to its use position.

A handle, suitable for knives and other implements, which provides for adjustable length blades, etc. comprises an outer portion of a resilient high coefficient of friction material surrounding an inner chamber of more rigid low coefficient of friction material into which a blade tang or the like may fit. The chamber is configured such that the high coefficient of friction material may be forced into close contact with a blade tang or the like to fix this in variety of different portions.

Handle and knives comprising the same

A knife sheath device includes a gripping or cutting type of tool such as a pair of pliers or wire cutters. The device includes a sheath pivotally mounted upon a back plate with the back plate and sheath cooperating to form and operate the tool. Portions of the tool are formed or attached to the sheath and also to the back plate, and the tool is operated by pivoting the sheath in relation to the back plate.

Knife sheath and tool device

There is provided an improved hand tool having a body portion with an axe blade attached thereto. A knife blade extends from the body portion and a sheath is pivotally mounted on the body portion so as to be movable between first and second positions. The sheath is configured to cover the knife blade when the sheath is in the first position and to cover the axe blade when the sheath is in the second position.
