Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmission associated with a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) grant. The UE may transmit an indication of a removal of a resource associated with the SPS grant, wherein the removal of the resource is based at least in part on a signal power associated with the PSFCH transmission satisfying a signal power threshold. Numerous other aspects are described.

Sidelink resource removal

Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first user-equipment (UE). The method may include: determining whether data is to be received from one or more second UE's; transmitting at least one enable signal indicating to the one or more second UE's to transition to an active mode of operation to transmit the data; and monitoring for the data in response to the at least one enable signal during a reception phase of the UE.

Sidelink transmissions enabled by receiver user-equipment (UE)

Aspects of the disclosure relate to discovery in a wireless communication network. According to one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine to use a service associated with a sidelink communication, determine a contents of a discovery message including an indication of the message being the discovery message for the service, and determine a sidelink resource for use to transmit the discovery message. The UE may then transmit over a user plane using the determined sidelink resource the discovery message including the indication of the message being the discovery message for the service. Aspects relate to managing a device-to-device communication link via radio resource control (RRC) layer signaling. In an example operation, a first wireless communication device establishes a unicast link with a second wireless communication device over a device-to-device communication interface and determines that the unicast link is to be reconfigured with at least one updated parameter. The first wireless communication device then sends a link reconfiguration request to the second wireless communication device via a first RRC message over the communication interface. The first RRC message includes the at least one updated parameter. The first wireless communication device receives a link reconfiguration response from the second wireless communication device via a second RRC message over the communication interface based on the link reconfiguration request and determines whether to reconfigure the unicast link using the at least one updated parameter based on the received link reconfiguration response.

Unicast link management via radio resource control signaling

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect an object and determine to share position information associated with the object with one or more UEs. The UE may select a reference entity detectable by one or more other UEs and determine the position of the detected object relative to the position of the selected reference entity. The UE may transmit, to one or more second UEs, a sensor sharing message that includes the position information of the object relative to the selected reference entity and an indication of the selected reference entity. The one or more second UEs may detect the position of the reference entity and determine the location of the detected object based on the position of the reference entity and the position of the detected object relative to the position of the reference entity.

Alternative coordinate system for sensor sharing

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, an application enabler layer (e.g., a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) application enabler (VAE) layer), may identify a congestion control configuration that includes capabilities for collecting operation information. The application enabler layer may receive, from a set of user equipment (UEs), the operation information in accordance with the capabilities. Then, the application enabler layer may generate congestion control instructions for one or more UEs of the set of UEs based on the received operation information. Additionally or alternatively, an application enabler architecture layer (e.g., a service enabler architecture layer for verticals (SEAL)) may identify a congestion control configuration including capabilities for collecting operation information and monitor sidelink performance for the set of UEs in accordance with the capabilities. The application enabler architecture layer may identify a congestion status for a communication type based on monitoring the sidelink performance.

Congestion control by a sidelink midlayer framework

Sidelink (SL) positioning of user equipments (UEs) is supported by assigning priority values to SL positioning operations, e.g., transmission or reception of SL positioning reference signals (PRS). The priority value, for example, may be (pre-)configured or provided to the physical (PHY) layer from higher layers. The UE selects resources for the SL positioning operations based on at least the priority value. The UE may reserve resources for the SL positioning operations, for example, using Layer 1 (L1) and/or Layer 2 (L2) control operations or by transmitting an indication that other UEs are to avoid using the resources. The priority values for the SL positioning operations may be used to resolve in-device conflicts, such as when the SL positioning operations conflict with other sidelink or non-sidelink operations.

Resource selection and prioritization of sidelink positioning operations

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) (e.g., a vehicle, low-power sensor) may identify that the UE satisfies a set of conditions for a stationary state. The stationary state may be associated with a configuration for transmitting a position message (e.g., a basic safety message (BSM)) while the UE satisfies the stationary state. The UE may identify a periodicity at which to transmit the position message based on the UE satisfying the set of conditions for the stationary state, where the periodicity associated with a stationary state may be larger than a periodicity associated with a non-stationary state. The UE may transmit (e.g., broadcast) the position message over a sidelink in accordance with the configuration and based on identifying that the UE satisfies the set of conditions for the stationary state.

Techniques for configuring transmission of a position message

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for techniques for sensor data sharing. Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first wireless device. The method generally includes receiving, from one or more sensors, corresponding one or more raw sensor data sets and transmitting, to a second wireless device, at least one message comprising information regarding an object detected based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein the information includes one or more characteristics of the object derived based on processing the one or more raw sensor data sets, wherein: when one or more conditions are met, the information further includes at least one raw sensor data set of the one or more raw sensor data sets; and when the one or more conditions are not met, the information does not include any raw sensor data.

Conditional vehicle to everything (V2X) sensor data sharing

Systems and techniques are described for assigning a reputation score for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. For example, a process may include receiving, at a receiving device (e.g., a vehicle, network entity, etc.), vehicle-based messages from a transmitting device (e.g., a vehicle, network-equipped infrastructure, etc.). Each of the vehicle-based messages includes information associated with the transmitting device. The process may include determining, at the receiving device, a reputation score for the transmitting device based on at least a portion of the information associated with the transmitting device from each vehicle-based message of the plurality of vehicle-based messages.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multiple-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning. In some aspects, a method includes transmitting, by a first user equipment (UE) including a first set of transmission and reception points (TRPs), a first request for a first sidelink (SL) positioning session. The first request indicates a multi-TRP positioning session is enabled. The method also includes receiving, from a second UE including a second set of TRPs, a first response based on the first request. The first response indicates a number of TRPs of the second set of TRPs available for the first SL positioning session. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Multi-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines a set of resources for transmission of one or more sidelink PRSs. The first UE transmits a sidelink control message to reserve the set of resources for the transmission of the one or more sidelink PRSs. In another aspect, the second UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may (e.g., transmit and/or receive/measure) the one or more PRSs in accordance with the sidelink control message. In another aspect, a third UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may determine whether a transmission by the third UE on some or all of the set of resources is permitted based on the sidelink control message.
