Interlocking bend limiter sections are substantially mirror images of each other and are joined to form an interlocking bend limiter segment without use of fasteners by engaging each other's interlocking ends. An interlocking bend limiter comprises a plurality of interlocking bend limiter segment secured at an end by an end piece. In alternative, related embodiments a repair system comprises one or more machinable length sections which function as chain clamps to repair a subsea pipeline while the subsea pipeline is still in service and which can comprise interlocking sections similar to bend limiter sections or which are locked in more traditional manners such as by using bolts or other fasteners.

Chained clamp pipeline repair structure and method of use

A pipe tool, useful for cutting, removing a weld, and/or truing a pipe, comprises a housing; a drive interface; a gripper selectively insertable into an inner annulus of a pipe and movable independently of the housing, the gripper comprising a selectively expandable grip; a radially disposed cutter adapted to selectively engage a predetermined portion of an outer surface of the pipe, the cutter movable independently of the housing and the gripper; and a motor operatively in communication with the drive interface. In embodiments, a pipe is cut by maneuvering the pipe tool proximate an open end of a pipe, moving the gripper into the pipe; extending the grip to engage an interior wall of the pipe and secure the pipe tool from movement relative to the pipe; advancing the exposed face to a predetermined position relative to the pipe; axially advancing the cutter to engage an outer wall of the pipe; and rotating the housing until the cutters perform the desired cutting operation on the pipe.

Pipe turning tool

An apparatus for cutting a material underwater is disclosed where the apparatus uses a mixture of abrasive material in a non-aspirated suspension mixed with a high pressure fluid, e.g. seawater. Subsea abrasive jet cutting system and method of use

A subsea well casing cutting tool for use as part of a well abandonment procedure, the casing cutting tool deployable from a vessel located at a water surface, where in certain embodiments the casing cutting tool comprises a casing gripper; a rotary cutter drive assembly; a rotary cutter; a rotating fluid union that allows high volume water to be fed to the rotating cutting assembly below the drive motor for purposes of extending the cutting blades; and a third party casing hanger removal tool wherein the casing cutting drive assembly forms an interface between the third party rotary casing cutter, an existing subsea casing, and a work class ROV. Casing cutter

A system and method for lessening impact on Christmas trees during downhole operations involving Christmas trees, by way of example and not limitation such as cementing processes. The system comprises an outer housing defining a chamber, a lubricator assembly disposed in the outer housing, and an inner sleeve slidably disposable within the chamber. The method uses the system of the present invention by inserting the inner sleeve into the lubricator assembly; lowering the inner sleeve into the Christmas tree to a predetermined position extending into a tubing hanger associated with the tree; introducing fluids through a fluid line coupled to the lubricator assembly, the fluids passing through a conduit within the inner sleeve into the wellbore; and retrieving the lubricator assembly upon completion of fluid introduction into the wellbore. In alternative embodiments, the inner sleeve may be retracted and withdrawn with the lubricator assembly upon completion of fluid introduction into the wellbore.

System and method for lessening impact on Christmas trees during downhole operations involving Christmas trees

A moon pool platform containment system is disclosed for a vessel comprising a first moon pool having a width, length, and depth, to aid in stabilizing moon pool platform motion to achieve a motion compensated moon pool submerged platform, the moon pool platform containment system a platform having a predetermined opening therethrough, the opening defining a second moon pool, the platform being sized smaller than the width and length of the first moon pool; at least one leg connected to the platform, the leg having a predetermined length; a source of leveling material; and a chamber in communication with the source of leveling material via a leveling material conduit. Leveling material may be supplied to or transferred from the chamber to supply positive or negative floatation as dictated by forces on the platform.
