A printing device includes an input tray in which sheets of media are loadable and a media guide movably adjustable along a dimension of the input tray and positionable against the sheets. The printing device includes a drive conductor electrically exposed parallel to the dimension of the input tray, detect conductors differently electrically exposed parallel to the dimension of the input tray, and a cross-conductor disposed on the media guide. The cross-conductor selectively electrically connects the drive conductor with the detect conductors according to a current media guide position to permit detection of the current media guide position.

Media guide position detection

A device () includes a sensor () to determine a capacitance between a first metal piece () coupled to a paper tray () of a printing device () and a second metal piece () coupled to a paper width adjuster () of the printing device (). The device () also includes a controlled () coupled to the sensor () comprising a processor () in communication with a memory resource () including executable instructions to determine a size of paper in the paper tray () based on the determined capacitance.

According to examples, a printer may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine readable instructions that may cause the processor to access an instruction to print a print job of a user and determine whether the user is moving toward the printer. In response to a determination that the user is moving toward the printer, the instructions may cause the processor to initiate printing of the print job.

An electronic device includes dynamic frequency system components. The dynamic frequency system components are set to non-interfering operation frequencies for a selected wireless communication channel and a scan is performed to establish a wireless connection on the selected wireless communication channel.

An example system includes a photo detector and a phase detector. The photo detector may detect a facet of a rotating mirror, the rotating mirror having at least two facets. The phase detector may detect a phase of a motor driving rotation of the rotating mirror. The example system may also include a processor to determine a phase relationship between the facet detected by the photo detector and the phase of the motor detected by the phase detector.

A printed circuit assembly includes a printed circuit board, a heat generating component coupled to the printed circuit board, and a conductive substrate extending parallel to the printed circuit board. The conductive substrate includes a flexing structure and a protrusion disposed on the flexing structure. The protrusion extends toward the printed circuit board opposite the heat generating component.

A printed circuit assembly includes a printed circuit board, a heat generating component attached to the printed circuit board at a first location, a formed conductive substrate including a protrusion extending toward the printed circuit board corresponding to the heat generating component, and a thermally conductive pad disposed between the printed circuit board and the protrusion of the formed substrate. The formed conductive substrate is configured to flex the protrusion to relieve stress at the heat generating component attachment.
