A wheel guard includes a guard member disposed on a compactor wheel. The guard member has a first side having a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is offset from the first portion such that to define a first stepped recess therein. The guard member has a second side disposed opposite to the first side. The first portion has a first cross-sectional thickness and the second portion has a second cross-sectional thickness such that the second cross-sectional thickness is lesser than the first cross-sectional thickness. The guard member has a first top surface defined by the first portion, and a second top surface defined by the second portion and partially by the first portion. The second top surface is offset from the first top surface such that to define a second stepped recess therein. The wheel guard includes a base plate and a wear pad coupled thereto.

An axle assembly for a landfill compactor includes an axle housing, a carrier housing located proximate the center of the axle housing, a drain plug located on an underside of the carrier housing, and a guard. The guard is attached to the underside of the carrier housing with adhesive such that the guard covers the drain plug and is configured to protect and give access to the drain.

A guard for protecting a drain plug and a ground-facing surface of an axle housing on a machine including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a body configured to be mounted to the axle housing to protect at least portion of the ground-facing surface of the axle housing. The body includes an opening configured to allow access to and removal of the drain plug through the opening. The second portion is removably couplable to the first portion. When the second portion is attached to the first portion, the second portion covers the opening to protect the drain plug. When the second portion is removed, the drain plug is accessible and removable to service oil in the axle housing.

A selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system for treating exhaust gas from a diesel engine is provided, along with a method of assembling such a system. The system comprises a frame, a SCR catalyst contained within a SCR canister, and an ammonia oxidation catalyst contained within an ammonia oxidation canister. Each of the SCR and ammonia oxidation canisters is removably attached to the frame.

Compact selective catalytic reduction system

A baseball dispenser for storing and dispensing a balls, comprising a cylindrical container which has an interior sized to hold a large supply of baseballs, softballs, and the like, and an opening at its top for receiving balls into the interior thereof. The baseball dispenser has a pair of handles secured to the upper end of the container and a pair of wheels rotatably mounted to the lower end thereof for facilitating easy transportation across the surface of the ground. One or more support columns extend vertically from the bottom of the container, wherein a compression spring is disposed about each of the support columns. A circular platform is vertically slidably disposed within the container and is engaged with the support columns such that the compression springs are constrained axially between the bottom of the container and the platform. The support columns serve to guide the platform as it travels in a vertical path along the interior of the container, and at the same time, the compression springs serve to automatically elevate the platform to a level at which the balls located on the top can readily be grasped for use as the balls are removed from the container.
