A bed apparatus including, at least, two drivers or a first driver and a second driver, the first driver being in linkage with the second driver, comprises: a calculating means for calculating a calculated bed state value, based on the first driver and the second driver; an error detecting means for detecting error between the calculated bed state value and a designated bed state value designated by the user; and, an error correcting means for correcting the detected error when an error is detected by the error detecting means. As a result, it is possible to provide a bed apparatus that can coincide the designated state of the bed apparatus with the actual state of the bed apparatus by appropriately correcting the error between the drivers.

Bed apparatus

To provide a bed apparatus that permits the bed to be tilted only when the knee bottom in the bed apparatus is raised so as to be able to positively prevent the user from slipping to the foot side when the bed is tilted. The bed apparatus includes: a tilting driver that can perform a tilting operation of the upper frame so as to create difference in height between the head side and the foot side and, at least, lower the foot side; and an operational state detector that detects that a knee bottom actuation assembly for raising and lowering the knee bottom is operable. The tilting driver performs the tilting operation when the knee bottom forms an angle of 0 degrees or greater relative to the ground and when the operational state detector has detected that the knee bottom actuation assembly is operable.

In the present invention, in accordance with a tilt and back-raising command (Step S&#x2014;Yes), knee-raising operation for raising the knees of the user is performed by actuating a knee bottom placed on a top frame (Step S). Next, after execution of the knee-raising operation, tilting operation for making the head-side height of the top frame higher than the foot-side height of the top frame by moving up and down the head side and foot side of the top frame relative to the floor (Step S). By this, the user can take a comfortable position just like sitting in the final position after the user's back has been raised, and it is possible to reduce user's feeling of being pressed on the back and in the belly and prevent user's significant body slippage.

Bed apparatus and bed apparatus control method

To provide a bottom for a bed apparatus that can relieve the sensation of being pressed and that at the same time is lightweight, easy to transport and can be cleaned easily. A bottom for a bed apparatus having a back-raising mechanism, includes a flexing bottom that is arranged between a back bottom and a hip bottom and can be flexed. In a back-raising operation, the flexing bottom flexes between the back bottom and the hip bottom while sliding downward over the surface of the uprising back bottom.

To provide a bed apparatus in which the user's posture can be easily adjusted, which can be divided into lightweight and compact sections and is easy to convey, assembly and disassemble, and has improved work efficiency and maintenance performance. The bed apparatus includes: an upper frame including a back-raising mechanism and a knee-raising mechanism; and link type lifting mechanisms for moving up and down the upper frame, and is constructed such that the link type lifting mechanisms are arranged under the upper frame on the head side and on the foot side, respectively, a connection frame that integrally joins the link type lifting mechanisms to one another, is arranged between the head-side link type lifting mechanism and the foot-side link type lifting mechanism, and the operations of the back-raising mechanism and knee-raising mechanism, the head-side link type lifting mechanisms can be controlled individually or in cooperation.

To provide a bottom for a bed apparatus that can make the user feel comfortable when lying on the bed apparatus. The bottom for a bed apparatus, which is height adjustable and is mounted on the top of a bed apparatus, comprising a plurality of parts each formed of a resin plate having a thickness, including a back bottom, a hip bottom, a knee bottom and a foot bottom. Of the parts, essential parts are joined by connecting parts, and the connecting parts are formed of the same material with, to be thinner than, and integrally with, the essential parts, and, depressed portions are formed on the top surface of the bottom around the center in the width direction of the bottom, and a plurality of passage holes are perforated in the depressed portions from the top surface to the undersurface of the bottom.

A support mechanism in which one end of a knee bottom section () is supported on a bed frame () in such a manner that the knee bottom section can be pivotally raised and lowered. Also, one end of a leg bottom section () is pivotally rotatably connected with the other end of the knee bottom section, a support stay () is pivotally rotatably connected with the underside of the other end of the leg bottom section, and a support device () of a support portion () provided at the opposite tip of the support stay is provided on the bed frame. The support device includes a guide portion () and an engaging portion () for movably supporting the support portion of the support stay. The guide portion can support the support portion moved in relation with the pivotal rotation of the knee bottom section within the entire pivotal rotation range of the knee bottom section. The engaging portion is provided above or below a vacant portion adjacent to the end portion of the guide portion on which the support portion is located when the knee bottom section is pivotally lowered.

Support mechanism for the leg bottom section of a bed

An X-linked lift mechanism having first links () and second links () constituting an X-linked mechanism between a base frame () and a lift frame (). A drive member () is pivotally rotatably installed between the other lateral side portions of the second links and is connected with boost arms () and a drive arm (). Guide members () are provided for guiding the moving members () installed at the ends of the boost arms. The guide members are installed on the other lateral side portions of the first links in the length direction. Also, a linear actuator is provided so as to extend between the other lateral side of the first links and the drive arm.
