A large bandwidth pcb patch antenna comprises an initial antenna patch comprising a main resonator, a first secondary resonator, a second secondary resonator, resonator, and wherein the first secondary resonator and the second secondary resonator are coupled together. By adding two non-connected patches on either sides of a rectangular patch antenna, a significantly larger antenna bandwidth is achieved and without loss of other characteristics.

In accordance with a first embodiment, the present invention provides a circuit substrate comprising a first surface; a second surface; a first via having a first end near said first surface and a second end near said second surface; a second via having a first end near said first surface and a second end near said second surface; a first conductive element electrically coupling said first end of said first via and said first end of said second via; a second conductive element electrically coupling said second end of said first via and said second end of said second via; an input signal line coupled to said first via; and an output signal line coupled to said second via.

Generally, a DC power filter and its associated components are presented herein. The DC power filter may operate in a telecommunications chassis between one or more electrical sources and one or more loads. A common mode noise shunt may be included to shunt noise from more than one of the electrical sources or loads together. Additionally, the DC power filter may include protection circuitry that is coupled to more than one of the electrical sources. The protection circuitry may include a combination of diodes and other transient voltage suppression devices.
