An example device includes an imaging portion, an audio portion and at least one acoustic isolation feature. The audio portion is integrally coupled to the imaging portion. The audio portion is to provide an audio output. The at least one acoustic isolation feature is to facilitate acoustic separation of the imaging portion and the audio portion.

Printer

An image production method and system in which enhanced eye-marks are utilized. A method embodiment includes receiving image production instructions directing the production of an image. Enhanced eye-mark data is generated for an enhanced eye-mark having an instructive portion and a descriptive portion. An image forming device is caused to form the image and the enhanced eye-mark on print media.

A difference in feed roller diameter from one printer to another causes a media to advance by a different amount for a given rotation of a drive shaft to which the feed roller is coupled. Such variation in advance distance is a linefeed error. Mean linefeed error is determined and corrected by printing a test plot having several areas. Each area is formed of the same image pattern, but is printed at a different linefeed error adjustment to compensate for mean linefeed error. The different adjustments are prescribed and span a typical compensation range for a given print engine model. The different adjustment factors cause banding to occur in some areas. The user picks one of the test pattern areas which has the highest print quality (i.e., least or no banding). The linefeed adjustment factor corresponding to such area is used for normal printing.

A compact optical sensing system is used in hardcopy devices for scanning and/or printing images, for instance, using inkjet printing technology in desktop printing or in photographic printers appearing in grocery and variety stores. Several light emitting diodes ('LEDs') illuminate a sheet of print media, and one or more photodiodes receive light reflected from the sheet. The photodiode generates signals in response to the light received, and the hardcopy device uses these signals to adjust printing parameters for optimal print quality. Using a chip-on-board process, the bare silicon die for each component is wire bonded directly to a printed circuit board assembly, allowing at least four LEDs (blue, green, red and soft-orange) to be grouped closely together in a space smaller than that occupied by a factory-made, single-packaged LED. A calibrating system uses a white target covered for cleanliness by a windowed door which is opened/closed by a printhead carriage.

The present invention provides a dynamic adjustment for black ink volume to print a black object whose height is greater than one swath of the inkjet printer.
