The present invention provides a dry-powder inhaler device comprising: a casing; an air inlet located at a first terminus of the casing; a powder delivery port located at a second terminus of the casing, which is positioned distal to the air inlet; and an elongated assembly located within an interior of the casing. A first terminus is located proximally to the air inlet, a second terminus is located proximally to the powder delivery port, and the assembly is fitted within the casing such that said assembly partially rotates therein about a single axis. The assembly has at least one compartment containing dry-powder, which is located proximally to the second terminus. The compartment with a dry-powder comprises a porous structure encasing the dry-powder; whereby airflow through the device causes the assembly to partially rotate within the casing about a single axis and release the dry-powder in the airflow.

Dry powder inhaler

A wire connector including a first member and a second member defining a cavity therebetween, the first member including a first channel and a second channel, the second member including a third channel and a fourth channel, the first, second, third and fourth channels being in communication with to the cavity, forming a substantially X-shaped form, the X-shaped form including a substantially central point. The first and the third channels are substantially collinear. At least one of the first and the third channels having a first additional opening for accommodating a first wire. The second and the fourth channels are substantially collinear. At least one of the second and third channels having a second additional opening for accommodating a second wire. The winding of the wires is by rotating the first member relative to the second members substantially around the central point, thereby winding the first and the second wires of the wire pair.

Wire connector

A device for injection of liquid fertilizer into an irrigation pipe includes an axisymmetrical housing (I) adapted for insertion into the pipe line (III). The device comprises an axial turbine impeller (II) rotatably positioned in the housing, the impeller including several vanes (20) surrounded by a shroud (22) and a flat, annular rim (6) outstanding from the shroud and closely surrounded by the housing walls. The rim contains, on one or on both of its flat sides, a side-channel pump of known design which includes a plurality of radial vanes (30) inserted into an annular portion of the flat side and a channel (33) recessed in the adjoining housing wall portion cooperating with the annular vane portion and extending from an inlet end (34) to an outlet end (35), the two ends being separated by a non-recessed wall portion (36). Liquid fertilizer is caused to enter the inlet end through an inlet port in the housing, is pressurized by the movement of the vanes along the channel and leaves the outlet end through an outlet port in the housing, from where it is conveyed to the irrigation pipe at a point (19) downstream of the pump impeller.
