The invention relates to a rubber composition based on one or more specific functionalized diene elastomers and on one or more carbon blacks with a CTAB specific surface varying from 100 to 200 m/g, the functionalized diene elastomer or elastomers being composed of a specific diene elastomer functionalized, at the chain end or in the middle of the chain, by a tin functional group and of a content of less than 15% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the functionalized diene elastomer, of a non-tin functional elastomer. The diene elastomer exhibits a monomodal distribution of molecular weights before functionalization and a polydispersity index before functionalization of less than or equal to 1.3. Rubber composition comprising a thermoplastic filler and compatibilizer

A diene rubber composition for tires based on at least (i) one diene elastomer, (ii) one reinforcing inorganic filler and (iii) one coupling agent which provides the bonding between the inorganic filler and the elastomer. A process for the preparation of a rubber composition for the manufacture of tires is presented. The composition is based on one or more diene elastomers, one or more reinforcing fillers, and a crosslinking system. The composition includes particles of one or more thermoplastic materials chosen from amorphous thermoplastic materials and semicrystalline thermoplastic materials, with the glass transition temperature of the amorphous thermoplastic material or materials and the melting point of the semicrystalline thermoplastic material or materials varying from 80&#xb0; C. to 300&#xb0; C. The particles exhibit a volume-average diameter of less than or equal to 200 &#x3bc;m.
