In order to allow robust assembly in an aircraft between a structural element and a self-stiffened panel comprising a skin and a stiffening structure formed of a network of ribs extending out from a first face of the skin, the structural element comprises at least one end formed of a first closure rib, the stiffening structure comprises at least one end formed of a second closure rib, and a portion the height of which increases progressively as far as the second closure rib, and the structural element being fixed to the self-stiffened panel via first through-fixing elements which fix the first closure rib to the second closure rib. The structural element comprises a sole exhibiting a second face having an inset delimiting a space which accepts an end part of the skin.

In order to allow robust assembly between a structural element and a self-stiffened panel comprising a skin and a stiffening structure formed of a network of ribs extending out from a first face of the skin, the structural element comprises at least one end formed of terminal tabs separated by cut-outs delimited by the terminal tabs and applied to the first face of the skin at an end part of the skin. In addition, the stiffening structure comprises at least one end formed of several terminal ribs extending respectively through the cut-outs. Finally, each of the terminal tabs is fixed to the end part of the skin via through-fixing elements.

In order to reduce the time and the cost of manufacturing an aircraft fuselage, the subject matter disclosed herein provide an aircraft fuselage frame element comprising a core provided with at least one through-opening intended for the passing of a fuselage stiffener, and further comprising, associated with each opening, a tab for the fastening of the frame element onto the fuselage stiffener, with the tab being a single piece with the core and connected to the latter by a fold that delimits the opening.

To reduce the time and cost of manufacture of an aircraft fuselage, a tool for positioning mounting clamps to attach a fuselage frame element onto a fuselage skin and/or onto stiffeners is provided. Accordingly, the tool includes a ramp and several systems for holding clamps in position distributed along the ramp, where each system includes a mobile device for applying pressure to the clamp, together with an adjustment device coupled to the mobile device such that its separation from the ramp is adjustable.
