The invention relates to a light treatment system. The light treatment system comprises a light source for emitting light for illuminating a part of a human or animal body for light treatment. The light treatment system further comprises a housing for emitting light towards the part of the human or animal body, and for at least partially covering the illuminated part of the human or animal body from view. The housing further comprises a window for emitting light from an inner part of the housing away from the housing.

The present invention relates to a skin radiation apparatus and method. The apparatus includes a photon radiation unit for generating a line-shaped radiation pattern that extends in a first direction; a movement facility for moving the line shaped radiation pattern in a second direction transverse to the first direction; a detection unit for detecting a skin condition profile; and a control unit for controlling the line-shaped radiation pattern, dependent on the detected skin condition profile.

Based on the analysis, the processor identifies a correlation between the plurality of adjustments and the contexts, and create at least one personal preference rule associated with the user identifier based on the correlation. The preferences database in some such systems is used to store the rules and the plurality of adjustments.

Systems and apparatus for automatically deriving and modifying personal preferences applicable to multiple controllable lighting networks

Systems and methods for managing interaction with controllable lighting networks are disclosed. Particularly, a user's input regarding the user's preferred level of interaction with a controllable lighting network is used in conjunction with memories and processors, to selectively allow the controllable lighting network access to the user's personal data such as the user's identity or the user's personal lighting preferences. A user's preferred level of interaction with a controllable lighting network is also used, in conjunction with personal mobile electronic communication devices, to allow the user to control lighting within controllable lighting networks.

A personal mobile electronic communication device is used in conjunction with a communication network and a lighting controller to communicate service orders by lighting with one or more individually controllable luminaires in a lighting network. The invention relates to a light treatment system (). A system is disclosed in which an electronic device of a user emits an identifiable alert as a result of a trigger indicating loss or theft, or probability or risk of loss or theft. Alerts may be acoustic, either audible or inaudible and may be disguised. Alerts may also be short range radio signals. A coded warning system is provided employing a detection module () and a signal generating module (), wherein the detection module is configured to obtain information regarding the detection of one or more operating parameters of the lighting unit and the signal generating module generates a desired warning signal () selected from a plurality of warning signals, upon determination that one or more of the operating parameters are abnormal operating parameters. Each warning signal of the plurality of warning signals is indicative of a specific abnormal operating parameter or a known combination of specific abnormal operating parameters.

A computer process is disclosed for assessing the risk of theft or loss of electronic devices in particular locations. The risk assessments may be based on data regarding reported theft and/or loss events, and based on data regarding current locations of user devices. The risk assessments may be used to generate location-based alerts.

Alert for real-time risk of theft or loss

Devices, methods, systems and a computer readable medium for the provision of alerts to electronic devices in response to real-time, location based analysis of the risk of theft or loss of such devices are provided. A continually updated database of locations of thefts, losses and/or stolen or lost electronic devices is accessed in order to provide the alerts to the electronic devices.
