A drive mechanism for door hardware, such as a pushbar exit device, includes a driver for moving a component of the door hardware, a controller for controlling the operation of the driver, a sensor for detecting motion of the moving component and a spring connected between the driver and the door hardware component. The spring allows the driver to move for a period of time after the component has stopped moving. The controller monitors the sensor and moves the component until the sensor indicates that the driven component has stopped moving. The sensor produces an output signal and the controller detects an inflection point in the output signal when the component stops moving while the driver is still operating.

A telecommunications enclosure box for compactly supporting and housing components that provide communicative connection of remote multimedia equipment. The enclosure box includes a base, a front door, pairs of first and second mounting brackets, and pluralities of first and second securing elements. The pairs of first mounting brackets and second mounting brackets are adapted to support various components on the base for communicative connection of remote multimedia equipment.

An electronic push retraction exit device includes a support rail, a push rail and a latch mechanism having a latch bolt operably connected to the push rail and movable between latched and unlatched positions. A control circuit in the exit device drives a linear actuator to retract and hold the push rail and the latch bolt in the unlatched position. The linear actuator preferably includes a stepping motor and is connected to the push rail through a lost motion connection allowing the exit device to be mechanically operated without moving the linear actuator. The control circuit preferably includes an electrical adjustment for the retraction distance of the latch bolt and an adjustable relatch timer. The exit device may be operated by a remote switch attached to a control connection, which may be permanently closed to simulate a prior art electrically operated exit device for compatibility with third party control systems.

Electronic push retraction exit device

A vertical door locking system includes a door lock with a deadbolt that moves horizontally, a striker with an upward facing strike opening that vertically receives the deadbolt and a lock controller. The striker includes an electrically operated catch to engage and release the deadbolt. The door lock and striker are mounted opposite each other, one to the vertical door and the other to an adjacent fixed mounting point. The lock controller electrically operates the striker to release the deadbolt and allow it to move vertically out of engagement with the striker for primary access to a secure area and the door lock allows the deadbolt to be retracted horizontally away from the striker for secondary access. A remotely located control system optionally controls the lock controllers of multiple doors and a central office control system is optionally connected to multiple remotely located control systems.

Vertical door locking system

A tool for terminating wires to electrical connectors includes an outer body configured to fit with an operator's hand and a first receiving member mounted in the outer body for releasably holding an electrical connector in place within the outer body. A first wire guide slot is located at a first end of the outer body remote from the first receiving member. The first slot is aligned with the first receiving member to align wires located in the first slot with the electrical connector held by the first receiving member.

Electrical connector termination tool

A modular connector panel has a planar front panel with opposite surfaces. A plurality of panel openings extend through the panel in an aligned array. Support members extend from a surface of the panel and have near ends connected to the panel and remote ends spaced from the panel. Abutments extend laterally from the remote ends of the support members and parallel to the panel, and have abutment surfaces facing the panel. The abutments are arranged in pairs, with each pair being aligned with a panel opening. A connector can be coupled by engaging a pair of abutments and extending into a panel opening.

Modular connector panel

A modular cable management panel assembly includes a panel, a set of rings mounted on a surface of the panel and a cover coupled to the rings. The rings are spaced along the panel longitudinal axis and have openings extending laterally through them. The cover is movable between a closed position extending over and closing the ring openings and an open position spaced from the ring openings to allow cables to pass laterally into and out of the rings. The panel assembly is adaptable for mounting various accessories.

An enhanced telecommunications cabinet assembly for enclosing wiring interconnections includes a chassis defining an interior cavity, a movable interconnect management adapter tray positioned in the interior cavity of the chassis, a plurality of modular interconnect panels mounted on the movable adapter tray, and front and top covers on the chassis. The chassis has a bottom wall and a pair of opposite sidewalls extending upward therefrom so as to define the interior cavity between the sidewalls and above the bottom wall. The chassis further has a pair of lower guide members positioning the movable adapter tray in the interior cavity of the chassis for movement relative thereto. The movable adapter tray is capable of undergoing at least one of being lifted upward relative to the bottom wall for removal from the interior cavity of the chassis or being slidably moved forward and backward along the lower guide members on the bottom wall toward and away from front and rear end portions of the bottom wall of the chassis. The front and top covers are provided for enclosing the interior cavity of the chassis respectively at the front and top thereof so as to block access to the front and top of the movable adapter tray and modular interconnect panels thereon. The front and top covers also are movable for exposing the interior cavity at the front and top thereof so as to provide access to the front and top of the movable adapter tray and modular interconnect panels thereon.
